It’s because a lot of OzBargainers grabbed this tablet with 4G from Optus from this deal
It’s currently being flooded on Scumtree, Marketplace and eBay
So they got something for free and want to sell it 2nd hand for more than it costs new.

the free one from Optus comes with data connectivity, MSRP ~$500. $300 is for wifi-only. not justifying the flipping, just explaining why they all peg it at around ~$400.
Different models, this ones wifi the other is 4g.
Bet most of these aren’t “OzBargainers”. Rather they are probably scummy leeching lurkers that just use the site for their own profit whilst never posting deals in return or being active members of the community in the comments.

I was quite disgusted with many of the comment in that Optus deal. Many try to scope up a few for profiteering and complain about no order fulfillment. Thanks to AHs like them killed the deal. Its a typical situation of "tragedy of common"
Despite report quality issue reported, that deal would be a great way for families on a tight budget to add a device without breaking the bank. I am certain there a a few real user missed out because of these lurkers.
Just FTR I wasn't ranting because I miss out, I got a 128 before it was OOS, yes just one although like others I could have order 3, 4 or even 5…..

Ignoring the ethical side, Amazon is super convenient and has great customer service. I can’t say the same about Harvey Norman in my experience over the years.

Compared to A7 Lite, other than size there doesn't seem to be huge performance improvement's going from $150 to $300
Can anyone vouch for this? Been watching Ali Express deals and trying to get a good AU tablet for the kids to thrash with Roblo/Minecraft.

got one from the optus deal, TBH this tablet is not that great. Because of the deal, I don't complain but woudnot buy it at this price
Just another poorly made tablet. Would definitely not pay $300 for this. I got the 4G one recently for next to nothing via that Optus deal. One side of my screen is literally popping out along the edges already. I only just opened it the other day. Luckily I'm only using it as my screen for my new exercise bike
I see a ton of these 2nd hand on marketplace and they all want 400+. Is it just me or 2nd hand electronic market has gone to trash in the last couple years?
