Price drop notification thanks to the three Camels. Not all-time low - was ~$25 around Black Friday last year - but still a decent saving (~$10) off their normal price (~$40).

Please note that this is the Mini S, so the USB cable with temperature and humidity sensor is included.

Delivery listed as New/Prime/$39 as my understanding of what the Amazon site says is that delivery is free for first orders, irrespective of if you sign up for Prime or not…?

Need Pro version for 433 MHz stuff

    • Yeah this one is IR only. I only have one RF product in my house (that I know of…), so fine for me.

  • Does this require internet connection to work?

    • I haven't blocked mine from accessing the internet yet, but the API is local (I use mine via Home Assistant).

Directly through the Broadlink app 50/50 chance - app could see locally and communication directly. Could also just go via cloud anyway…

  • Got something similar from kogan <$17. Great if you want to ditch remote

    • Yeah I use mine to get temperature readings for bedrooms and control A/C units, fans and lights.

      • Noice

    • Is that Kogan one RF as well? The description doesn't mention it, but there are RF devices listed in one of the pictures.
