Any idea if the 5% discount is stackable with Victorian Seniors Card of 5%?
Warning! This card won't load onto the Woolworths Rewards app or Woolworths Money app, making it a pain to use. Not sure it is worth the extra 1%.
wow, really? all woolies or wish egift cards I have ever had could be added into the Woolworths Money app, so they have made it so this one can't be? Strange.
Confirmed with Woolies - it is a promotional card that cannot be added to the apps. All you can do is scan the barcode at the checkout. I've asked them to escalate and give me a refund.

I think you have been misinformed. Mine wasn’t working initially but is now working on the money app (still not for woolworths pay)
@grover77: Confirmed it loads fine (just did it on an iPhone and Samsung). Make sure you update the app.
I just added mine to the Woolworths Money app and it worked. It looked like they patched the issue on theirend today to fix the issue.
I still cannot load it onto the Everyday Rewards app. To be honest, I don’t expect it to work on the Everyday Rewards app anyway, because you still cannot load most gift cards issued by Woolworths Group onto the Everyday Rewards app (e.g. Essentials, Returns, any Bonus Store eGift Cards).
I'm still getting "Invalid Gift Card number" with the Money app. Never mind, might have to settle for Stocard.

Just bought one of these with my Coles MC giftcard I bought today for 10% off. It was 7 hours since I bought the giftcard at Coles and it went through okay.
Just a for info on a $250 card ($262.50 with top up)
- Used a Coles Mastercard Gift Card, no issues (after waiting 4hrs)
- Ordered at 3pm, received 5hrs later (usually 10-15mins). No idea on the cause of the delay.
- Added to Woolworths Money App, no issues
- Still can’t add to Everyday Pay…..yet
- Total savings $31.20

I've used 4% off Woolies giftcards from Macquarie Bank on Woolies online for a delivery/direct to boot and didn't have a problem. There should be a box to put in your giftcard number on the check out page where you pay for your order.
Is the discount still available? I clicked through the link and added the 5% e-gift card to cart but there is no discount.
The promotion is still available, as it is still advertised on the Woolworths Group gift card portal.
Btw, this deal is not an upfront discount, but a deal where you'll add extra funds added to the gift card after you purchase it. It says in the about section on the gift card's page:
The 5% extra value will be added to your Supermarket Promotional eGift Card purchase amount after checkout.

On the Cart page the Supermarket Promotional eGift Card(s) will appear for the base purchase amount you selected - don’t worry, the 5% extra value will be added at a later stage
I chose $50 as the amount for my gift card yesterday, and all the way through the payment process, it said I would pay $50. However, when I finally received my gift card via email, it was loaded with $52.50 (not $50).

I think the lack of responses to your question is because people do not know what MCC is. Can you please clarify?

It has been confirmed that purchasing the Coles $250 Mastercard itself is treated as an eligible shop. I am not sure about doing it direct online to purchase this 5% off Woolworths discount card though.
My ideal scenario is to use the HIVER card to get the Coles $250 Mastercard and THEN use that Coles $250 Mastercard to purchase this 5% off Woolworths card. Unfortunately unless it comes in the mail this morning, I do not think I will have enough time to activate the HIVER debit card to then run to various Coles to get the $250 MC deal, give it 4.5 hours to activate and THEN buy the WW 5% off card. #OzBargainLife

Usually takes more than 2 days to clear transactions on Hiver. I just bought mine just now so cant tell
hiver mcc is ok its 3885 so should get another 5% back next month
Purchased 1 x $250 (262.50) using Coles $250 MC gift card. Smooth transaction, and WW card received via email within 15 minutes. Due to success, did the same a second time and received WW card around 10 minutes later.
I processed 5 x $250 WW gift cards using my Coles MC's to pay for them at 10pm Thursday night and apart from the confirmation emails, I have not yet received the official gift cards. Right now it is 8.15am Friday. I'm assuming that there is possibly some sort of overnight process involved that is delaying it in my case.
Yes, I'd assume so too. Seems like doing it during standard business hours might give a better chance of receiving quicker (if it matters). I purchased one a few weeks ago on a Sunday and it took maybe 20 hours to come through.

I found that issue when doing it on my PC but no issues when doing it on my iPhone. I assume it was because my PC has software like uBlock Origin etc which blocked quite a few elements from the website from running.

Woolworths effectively stopped allowing people to use Woolworths Group gift cards as a payment for any gift cards in late 2018.
However, you can use the Coles Mastercard Gift Card to pay for the Ultimate gift cards at Woolworths (assuming staff do not stop you).

I gotta say that Woolies did a brilliant move here. Some smart cookie must have seen the upcoming Coles Mastercard deal and thought that this would be a good way to churn this into guaranteed Woolworths cash for only a nominal increase in the discount and thus locking in a significant amount of spend into their supermarkets.
