  • There is no need for aggression in instances where you are unable to subscribe to an international Netflix account. Share your experience so everyone can chip in and help out. There are plenty of examples where hacks shared on this platform do not work for some people, but may work for others:

    • Modem reset for faster internet,
    • Cash back program purchase tracking,
    • Price matching an unobtainable deal or price error,
    • Targeted bargains, and
    • Limited quantity items quickly or instant (bot) sellout.

    So I used the Turkish gift card first as I couldn't get it work on my computer to accept my card payment even with Turkey VPN turned on. Turn on VPN on my iPhone to try and fiddle with the payment . Log on to Netflix Turkish account and add my 28 degree card. Voila it works! Paying around the 7 dollar mark a month for 4k Netflix and family account. This with Indian YouTube is 10 bucks is not bad.

      Spotify are a lot stricter with credit cards and it detects if the credit card origin is different from the country your trying to register in. India used to be the cheapest (not sure if it still is) but you had to have a credit card issued from an Indian bank for it to work.

      Open a Thai PayPal account, add your Aussie card to it, now subscribe to Spotify using a Thai VPN server and add your PayPal account as payment method. You will need a fake Thai address for PayPal but you can generate one online.

    I went through this last year and used Citibank Debit. I had an issue with validating the phone number, I ended up paying for 1 month of Australian Netflix to do all the validations and let the subscription lapse, I then signed up per above using VPN, has been working fine since.

    Netflix chat weren't helpful. They knew my account wasn't made in Australia. I quickly ended the chat as soon as they found out. 🥴🥴

    May have mentioned in the other deal, but this is what I did

    • buy Turkish gift card from random site (enough to cover a month at least)
    • wait until Aussie subscription expires (make sure you have a phone number active)
    • enable VPN, redeem gift voucher via instructions
    • next month when gift card runs out Netflix will contact you about payment details
    • use Netflix live chat and tell them you want to update your payment details
    • a secure form will appear in chat - enter your Aussie card details (I used westpac)

    Been running ultra plan for 2 months now.

        Had one in for ages with my aussie subscription.

        I got the whole Turkish sms thing when my gift card expired but live chat just updated my payment info without needing to verify anything.

    Why do people go to all this effort to VPN Netflix?

    I went to a mate's house on Sunday, he had some custom box which had Kodi and all these other apps and he literally had access to everything!

    I mean it had every app on their, every new movie, every pay-per-view!

    Technically you're committing fraud doing either, so why wouldn't you go for the free option?

      Using a device to knowingly circumvent the cost of a paid service is illegal.

      I wouldn’t say they are dodgy. Thats where I buy from. I was concerned when I first did as the website claims it’s instant but it’s not. From memory they are located in Hong Kong (or could be Singapore). Their chat team aren’t to be desired, when I chased them up before I was getting one word responses which left me no confidence but I’ve always received a valid code.

      had to chase them up after 30 minutes. finally received the code but the gift card doesn't seem to work on the Turkish netflix website. Have tried half a dozen times and tried creating couple of new accounts with no success. It does recognize me as a user from Turkey and gives me pricing in Lira but I am stuck.

        it appears the issue on my end was that i used urbanvpn. Many others have reported the same issue of not being able to redeem the gift card using urbanvpn. Changed to windscribe and worked perfectly.

      Based on the steps above taken by others it looks like they were able to use the gift card by using their expired AU acct and using a VPN connected to Turkey server to access Netflix Turkey

        Confirmed working fine.. cancelled Netflix account that was paying in Australia previously. Netflix card purchased from G2A, waited for account to lapse.. redeemed using NordVPN and it already had my bank account details pre-saved to charge when it expires.

    Checkout the youtube for netflix turkey membership..lots of people left comment on those videos stating that after 6-7 days of subscription, while watching video, they were getting error message "you are in different location". So to watch all videos you may have to use turkish vpn all the time (not just at the signup), which can be annoying and added cost..not sure how much this is true..and how to enable vpn on tv for all the time usage.

    Worked this way for me.
    Vpn - windscribe for Android. One of the three servers in Turkey is free, rest ask for subscription.

    Netflix gift card from MTC. I didn't get email right away so after 5 mins added them on WhatsApp for chat and got the email.

    I already had an expired netflix account.

        Pay in the local currency Turkish Lira (TRY) and use a card such a Macquarie debit etc. that doesn’t charge International transaction fees.

    for those who holds crypto.com card
    - in your existing Netflix account change your payment detail to cdc card
    - cancel the subscription; you will receive email to restart subscription
    - buy Turkey Netflix giftcard and activate subscription after expiration. ( you need to connect to Turkey VPN)
    - from next month onwards cdc card will work as payment method.

    I am at step 3, waiting for confirmation for step 4.
