    Can this be used as a starting battery for a 4wd if I mount it away from engine bay? I cant see why not if its charged from Solar and not vehicle alternator? The output amps looks high enough?

      Sorry, this deep cycle battery is not recommended to be used as a cranking battery. And not recommended to be installed under the bonnet

      This battery has a high charge/discharge current, which is strong enough to power a 2000W microwave or coffee machine.

    wonder how it compares to this item which is specified for cranking up to 2000CCA , I need to look into it and im sure the op or a battery geek can fill me in but it may have similar makeup at a glance. This looks very tantalizing if it can crank reliably and do high enough cycles being used this way, I need one for a few tractors back at my parents property that never have working batteries, I could carry it from vehicle to vehicle as I need without the massive weight of truck batteries, could also use it for other farm vehicles that are not used often. Most are diesel so wont draw a constant current im guessing but will need to fire glow plugs which may draw a fair whack.

      Actually, our BWB LiFePO4 is a Deep Cycle Battery. As a deep cycle battery, it can survive more than 10 years if you use it in a proper way. (Our battery cells are A- Grade and Brand New). While a dual-purpose cranking battery is mainly for cranking a motor. The surge can go much higher than the limit of a deep cycle battery. in one word, a deep cycle battery is not recommended to crank a vehicle, it won't last long in that way.

      This one has the volt meter, switch, outlets and such on it… The last deal was a bare battery…

      The last bare-battery deal was more suited as a "house" battery in a campervan, 4x4 or such that is all wired up with it's own outlets and such, this battery is probably more suited as a camping battery or in a 4x4 that doesn't have much in the way of wiring, outlets, and such..

    Decent battery for something that comes with a battery box and sockets

    iTech100 is $9 more but with a higher discharge rate (150/175A) if you need to run a beefier inverter. It doesn't come with a battery box though.
