On sale is this Eachine helicopter drone that seems to resemble the Black Hornet Nano drone used by the military. It's available with either a left or right hand throttle and with 1, 2 or 3 spare batteries.

Like many small drones this has a fly time of about 15 minutes, with a range of around 120 metres and speeds up to 20km/h. It's controlled via the controller or with the phone app and has an inbuilt front 720p camera with automatic focus that can be rotated 90 degrees. There's different fly modes including hovering, returning home and flying to specific waypoints set in the app.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but you are not in the defence force. You do not need a surveillance drone.

It's an invaluable tool for managing and observing livestock. It is a heck cheaper than a helicopter too. Don't worry, the cattle have tin foil hats on.

  • You can't fly, you're a toy!

  • 720p camera, high up in the air.. not much to see tbh.

Don’t show this to the US DoD. They’ll supply it to the Ukrainian army lol
