Anko Nintendo Switch Charging Case $10 in-Store @ Kmart

140

Went to Kmart to grab one of the charging cases that was supposedly $20, only to find that they're $10 cheaper.

Anyone know if these do the job, or best to avoid it.

I bought one. So I'll let you know how it goes.

Does your OLED fit into it ok

  • Probably won't work with the Switch OLED which many people would've picked up on a recent deal

  • I got a cheap clear switch case from Kmart which was marked down at $2.50. I got it thinking it was cheap only to come home and realise that it was tad too thick and the switch wouldn’t fit into the charging base with the case on. it’s a hassle to remove/ put on the case each time my kid docks/ undocks the switch and the case has ended up in landfill.
Just a word of caution before buying something that looks cheap but in the end might just end up being a complete waste.

    • I'm currently using the clear case that came with the pack. Fits nicely on the dock. The clear case sold separately must be thicker.

These fit the OLED switch, but as they're made for the OG switch the volume up button has like 5% of it that gets covered by the clasp at the top but doesnt affect usage at all
They work pretty well too,Charges about 60-80% depending on your usage etc

Now with bonus Kmart face tracking!

I have this and can confirm it does fit ok with the switch oled. I would advise against putting the Joycon seperate hard plastic cases on as they do scratch them whilst taking it off

  • Almost got one but then realised it wouldn't fit my carry case and would much prefer to use that.

  • what does it exactly do? so it charges while playing?

    built-in battery inside?

    • +1

It is a battery case, and powers your switch for up to 4hrs when switched on. It can also be used as a stand to keep it sitting up

    They're down to $5 now.
