  • Any option for 32gig RAM + WIndows Pro?

    • Hi!

We have a ram upgrade option next to the image!

As for the windows system, you can add windows pro software to the cart with the PC, and we will help you install!

      Cheers,
      BPC Team

I use Brian's Tech YES City, Youtube info to buy Windows 10 pro as its cheaper than 11 Pro Key and they work for both! All for under $15 (Use 30% Coupon BFTYC) - https://bit.ly/BFTYC ~ they keys are legit and you get an email with the link (assuming you cant google windows edition to download and put on a USB). Costed me $20 this weekend to ACTIVATE 11pro with the 10Pro key after discounts in AU$!

As far as ram goes 16gb is all you need (I have 32gb in another system and 64gb in my own and hardly ever notice any benefit over 16gb!)

This is a good price for a system for a basic gaming box that will play AAA titles at 1080P @>120fps! 144hz

The RAM configuration in your description is confusing, it says 1 x 8, and then says x 2 at the end.

    • +1

They do that sort of thing so you know how many sticks there are. 8GB could 1x8GB or 2x4GB as an example. Memory should always be in pairs in your system because of how processors work, you don't want to end up with 1 or 3 sticks of ram, it mucks everything up.

      • Thanks for sharing the knowledge!

    • +1

Yeah quite confusing but its 16gb total. 2x 8gb

    • +3

It says 16GB in the description, and it the parts list it says 8GB x 2.

      • It didn't say that before. They changed it after my comment.

        • It didn't say that before. They changed it after my comment.

No they didn’t. The listing was live for 3 or 4 days before it was posted here on Ozbargain.

  • Case VS pics is wrong too?

    • +1

Yes, thx for reminding us! Just fixed!

      • Could we order with the original pictured case? The nzxt h510 one?

        • Hi LawTalkingGuy,

We made the Case upgrade options, now you can select the NZXT H510 Flow Case!

  • Hi OP can you please confirm the case. Wanting to buy one but as DVbargain has said pics are wrong

    • Hi 1195qq,

We fixed the images already. The Case is Cooler Master MasterBox TD300 ARGB Mesh Micro-ATX Case - Black.

Are these ready to ship or does it take a while to build and ship (aka TechFast)?

    • Hi Jayz,

Generally, it takes 2-5 business days for us to build and dispatch. But we will try to deliver prebuilt systems from Aug.

      Cheers,
      BPC Team

  • Shouldn't this as strong as XSX? Would it a better buy, as you can claim it on tax return as well?

    • This with 1440p monitor should match XSX with 4K TV.

  • Hey mate, running any more 3080 or ti deals before EOY??

    Gotta burn some coin

    • +2

I thought stuff like computers are depreciating assets and as such you would only get like 12 days of depreciation?

    • Hi!

Are you looking for the GPU Deal or the 3080/3080ti gaming PC deal?

      Cheers,
      BPC Team

  • +5

Geez its amazing the difference a year makes to pc prices.

  • +1

This is surely cheaper than buying the parts yourself. Although you would probably buy better components here and there, so price would go up.
None the less, I enjoy putting the parts together myself and did just that 3 months ago, when prices were far higher.

    • +1

Depends how much effort you want to put in. Just recently we had a shopping express 10% sitewide and an afterpay ebay 10% line up, so buying in 3 separate purchases, it was a bit cheaper than pre built, and I could get the exact parts I wanted.

But it look me about 3 hours lol. Depends how picky you are, or how much you value time.

  • +4

I wish these guys did ITX builds. Would love to see a 3070Ti in Lian Li x Dan Cases A4-H20 Mini-ITX

    • We will look into it!

  • +3

Decent value, although I can't help but think I'd rather build a slightly faster 6600xt system and get to pick my own parts for a similar price.

  • Can you guys ship just the parts seperately? Want to use my own case

    • Hi Wayne,

You can send us your contact info (Name, email and phone number) through private chat.

We can generate a quote based on your request and see if you like it.

      Cheers,

  • Is this a good midrange build for 1000 dollars? Or is there better value elsewhere currently?

    • +1

Pretty hard to beat this at the price point!

      • Whenever I have a look at BPC Tech builds, there are always people talking how particular parts could be better, do I need to worry about this for this one too? ANd are there any particular upgrades I should strongly consider too?

        Thanks!

        • +1

I bought a techfast cheapie years ago and intended to fix 'bad' parts but it's been totally fine. Unless you're an enthusiast these prebuilds will do anything you need them to.

I did replace my PSU because at the time Techfast were using generics, but this system has a decent unit and should be good to use as is.

    • +1

If you don't mind building it yourself, something along the lines of this build should be a bit faster. 6600xt is around 10% faster than 3060, and 12100f similar or maybe a bit faster than 10400f in games too.

    • -1

If for gaming then you'd build a much better one yourself at this price

  • No microsoft windows, but i'm very tempted!

  • Wow first time to see a 3060 prebuilt under $1k !!!

    • -6

you think this is cool for what reason?

      • You must be a hit at parties.

        • He’s the ultimate cool guy.

        • -2

I'm guessing your 3060 prebuilt tales go down like a cannonball around the fondu table

    • Hi! Good price isn't it :)

  • Drop boxes on the site seem to be very broken

    • Good to know I'm not the only one having the same issue

  • Any PSU upgrade option at all? Maybe one with modular cables?
E.g this EVGA one is only $30 difference

    • Hi jmeister,

We don't have the option yet but we can do a manual order for you if want :D

Just leave your name, email and phone number via private chat and we will send you the quote.

      Cheers,

  • How would this suit for a PCVR setup with Oculus Quest 2. Also for some simple 3D modelling to print on 3D printer? Also does the optional wifi card have Bluetooth (what is the model). Thanks

    • +1

Excellent for zombie slaying. But best if you also buy one for a mate.

      • Thanks chief

  • I'm loving that stock intel cooler

  • newbie here…

    This PC uses 10400F + B560

    How much better is a 12400 + B660

    (not interested in overclocking)

    • +1

Almost double in CPU power. If you just game you can expect around 30% difference, more in CPU heavy games like MMO.

    • +1

much better if I'm being honest 12th gen was a massive leap from intel btw bxxx mobo cant overclock only Zxxx series and also you need to have a cpu that has a K at the end of it

    • Where are you seeing this PC? On their site?

  • Bought one. Got extra ram, ssd, wifi and NZXT case. Finally a deal with a clean case, great price and nice specs. Thanks OP

    • Cheers!

  • I've just finished a 11400F 32GB build but if this deal had been available I could have saved myself some trouble. Ah well

  • Best monitor for a system like this is a 32" 1080P with speakers for around the $250-350 mark. Dell make one (I have 2, paid $250 each, delivered and am very happy!)

    • Hi can you share the model number please. Thank you

  • Hi all,

I recently bought a 38in Alienware ultrawide and want something to run it better…

My current setup is as follows:

    CPU: Intel Core i7-6700K
    GPU: Nvidia GTX 970
    SSD: Kingston A400 480GB
    HDD: Seagate Barracuda Green 2TB
    RAM: HyperX Fury DDR4 2666 C15 4x8GB
    MBD: MSI Z170A GAMING M7 (MS-7976)

How much better would the above build be? would the above build be able to run the 38in well?

    Regards

    • No you dont buy a $1000 computer to go with a $2000 monitor. What do you want to play on it? If you want to play AAA games you will need something like a 3080ti or a 6900xt.

  • +1

Any chance of getting more EOFY gaming rig deals?

    • Hi Orbilf,

We have released all of our EOFY Build, but when it comes to Q3 starting from Mid-July we will release more deals :D

      Cheers,
      BPC Team
