I'm going to vacuum the hell out of my camp site at 3am!

      65 dB … 'at idle'.

  • its a generator with 12 litre tank runs on unleaded petrol. Runs 5,5 hrs full capacity according to the manufacturer. Only 12 months warranty .

    • Based on that, you’d get 16.5 kw out of this generator in that 5.5 hours (3kw * 5.5)
If you used it to charge a model 3 Rwd, that 16.5 kw would be about 27.5% battery charge (16.5/60).
16.5 kw would go for about 99 km, if you take an average of 6km per kw.
12 litres of petrol to drive 99km in a Tesla!
      Not too shabby eh!

  • I have an earlier/similar model. Works fine. Noisy and heavy, so no good for camping, but good as a backup at home for those electricity outages.

Pretty much the same as the Adventure Kings one, as far as I can tell - Generic Chinese motor, but good basic home one as a backup (we got one after the second long outage last year ere in Vic). Adventure Kings over 2 year warranty, but is $426.95 + postage on Ebay.

Not sure on the pricing, but might be more flexible and versatile to get two inverter gensets and then pair them together for any heavy loads. Here's a quick example explanation

Apparently it'll work with the right wiring, irrespective of the brand and capacity - you just get the cumulative wattage once they're linked. But obviously getting a matching pair would be simpler.
