Free - KitKat Break Expert Box @ Nestle

750

1st post pls be nice :)

Got an email from kit kat that they're sending out free kit kat boxes to break experts, lol. Seems dodge but I managed to get a free chocolate bar the last time this happened, took about a few weeks to arrive I think.

They are offering two options, a Box of 3: Biscoff, Byron Bay Cookie & Original Bar and Box of 4: Dark 70% Block, Byron Bay Cookie, Gold Bar, and Original Chunky. Link seems generic and it might be worth to try ordering a few under different emails? Who knows :))

As OP just received the email, I'm saying it's legit. They most likely just forgot to update the T&Cs from last time.

      • Most likely, at the time of posting, I received the email literally 9 minutes before.

Has anyone else noticed what KitKat did over the last 2 years? They released the "HoneyComb Smash" flavour, which basically invalidated every single other flavour. Not a huge sweet tooth, and could care less about KitKats out side of "oh great, let me try this gimmicky japanese market flavour someone bought", but they started selling HoneyComb Smash blocks for $3.00-$3.50 on sale all the time. I'd grab a block every so often. Anecdotally, everywhere I saw it, it was always gone or near gone & clearly outselling every other flavour… It's not rocket science, everyone I know had the same reaction too, of "yeh, thats fkn delicious".

They got everyone hooked on the best flavour, HoneyComb KitKat, to the point it cannibalised every other flavour they have, cause they're all gimmicky dogshit — and so they've discontinued it, completely taken it off the market…

    What a joke.

So you're saying they had a product so successful they had to stop selling it?

I'm going to go ahead and file this under 'highly questionable information I've gleaned from the internet'

      • -7

If you're not aware of what 'market cannibalization' is, fyi, its a thing, and maybe you should go back and study high-school level economics if its too mind-blowing to process.

For the record here, i'm making a post thats half-jokey about a kitkat conspiracy, and half-inquiring if other people have noticed the disappearance of this great flavour. But it's pretty clear whats happened. KitKat has like 6 different flavours out over this period, which are all woke variations of fake elitist alliterative bs like "Cape York Caramelised Cumbubbles" and "Eastern Suburbs Slavetrade Mint Julep". All of which would be sitting on the shelf gathering dust when the honeycomb ones available.

Sounds like there's something a bit deeper than a joke/inquiry going on here.

You are clearly too clever for me. I have no idea what you're on about.

And for the record, I never studied high-school economics in the first place, so…joke's on you hehe

and these KitKats, are they in the room with us right now?

Incorrect English and conspiratorial delusions, hand in hand. 🚩

      • +3

It's not even an. American english thing it's just poor grasp of language or sayings in general. Saying you "could not care less" literally means that you are at the lowest point of caring. Saying you "could care less" is completely wrong in any language as you could theoretically be at infinite positions on the scale of caring above absolute zero. Hell it might actually mean you care at the maximum possible limit of caring and are highly invested - or maybe that's "should care less" :P
