Don't get the downvote. Would of is a bad habit to get in to.

I don't correct people on it as you can see it creates tension (no-one can take friendly corections any more) but I don't think it needs to be downvoted. Writing "would of" on a job application will likely see it end up in the bin.

Anyway, agree with you mommu, I'll sacrifice some downvotes now :)

Thanks, I really don't mind the downvote. I wasn't trying to be a smartass but "would of" bothers me more than you're / your.

  • I'm guessing Jetstar would be the airline?

    • Nah. It's Virgin Australia.

      • +1

Oh wow that's not bad then.

        • +2

It lets you choose to fly with Jetstar at an additional cost

          • +2

            @foxes28: Wait Jetstar cost more?

            • @nightelves: I can't speak for all but in my scenario flying from Sydney in Aug/Sep, the flight included is with Virgin via BNE. Jetstar however has an option for direct flight but it would cost extra.

    And 2 jabs

  • must be 2 ppl?

    • these deals are always based on double occupancy

      • unfair?

        • Na it's just the travel business unfortunately, it's been like this for ages

Thanks OP, just sent me 2 dogs out.

Hi OP, looks like a great deal with all the inclusions. I have a couple of questions:

    1. In the additional info it states "Children: 3-11 years are charged the child rate" but in the quote their price is the same as adults. Is this correct?
    2. Is there an option for just the stay package with me booking my own flights?
    • +1

      No problem!

      1. That's not correct. As an example, if we quote just the accommodation, 28 Aug - 4 Sept is $850 total for 2 adults = $425 per person. If you add 1 child within the age bracket you get $1083 total for 2 adults + 1 child (4 years) which is a $233 difference, not the full amount for an extra adult person. That accounts for the child rate. The room type included in the deal has a maximum capacity of 3 guests. So if you are attempting to add 2 children, it will automatically add a second room which could account for what you're seeing. Our quote wizard lets you play around and see all of the price differences between room types and the different specials which might be helpful for you to experiment with, however if you need any further assistance please reach out to us at [email protected] and one of our consultants will be able to assist you.

      2. Yes, you can also purchase this deal without flights. Click the 'Select Dates' button on the deal and choose your travel dates - this will launch our quote wizard. Scroll down to the flights section, click 'Change Selection' and then click 'Remove Flights'.

      • Thanks for the detailed response!

Really keen to get this deal with children (3-11 years old)locked at child rate, but no option in the website

    • Hey there, please see our detailed explanation above in regards to the child rate :)

  • Bought, now looking for a partner :)

Hey OP, any option to extend the stay to 14 days instead of 7 at extra cost?

    • Yes of course, you're more than welcome to extend your stay on the same deal.

You probably have to go and off peak, if you go during busy time like August we're flights from Adelaide only 550 return I don't see how this even good value because full start hotels or when we're from $50 a night to $200 a night

  • Last week of July, return Virgin flight is a "night"mare - DPS: 11:20pm MEL: 12:20pm +1

  • booking as 3 adults - what are the chances we will end up with a single King size bed?

    what are the bedding options?

  • Great Deal
But buyer beware this “agent” could potentially have the worst customer service ever
About 5 weeks ago they had another deal for a different resort in bali that I was very interested in booking.
I wasn’t interested in taking a deposit now and the remaining balance closer to the trip ,I wanted to book for it and pay for it straight away as I wanted to select the seats on the plane as soon as possible.so I emailed them asking if this could be done.
To this day I still hadn't received a response.
I basically wanted to throw money at them quickly and they weren’t interested.
Imagine what they would be like if you needed to make any type of change.
I Ended up booking the flights directly with virgin ,locking in the seats I wanted and booking A different hotel through a different service provider and learnt a valuable lesson never to book anything with these guys.
