  Average scores - from all reviews at the site - shows "Overall Quality" of only 4.6 out of 10…? Why? :-/

  Not a bad price for a LED/Laser Colour MFC but this isn't such an economical printer to run. A $94 black toner on this dell gets 2000 pages whereas (for the same price) a black toner on my Samsung CLP-620 gets 5000 pages. Colour cartridges are even worse (only 1400 pages vs 4000 on my Samsung).
  And this thing doesn't have auto-duplex.

    Thanks for that comment I think with printers people just want to know how much toner costs. Its the only going cost of these things more than the initial layout most of the time.

      Not around the $300 price range (as far as I'm aware). The Samsung CLX-6220FX is advertised at umart for $446 (RRP $999). There's also a Brother for $680.

    Any recommendations for a colour laser printer which is economical to run?
