    How do you find out if your account is unlimited? I spent about usd$2 so far so I guess I am not qualified?

      Easiest way is to try and redeem the game. I did and got a message saying my account was limited so can't claim.
      Message for me said need to have spent over US$5 to become unlimited and be able to claim.

    I have a plain ordinary Steam account and it worked. In the Fanatical email follow the instructions to redeem in Steam.

        tried subscribing at 9 am
        tried linking my steam account- message said unable to connect steam account- contact customer service

        I thought it was too much trouble for a free game which I would not end up playing in all probability
