  • My woman tells me my aim is as if the toilet was invisible.

    Now I have an 'out'.

    Sold.

    1. Does this cost include installation?
    2. Would it be harder to fix? since it's not visible/easily accessible?

I'm thinking the same thing. Toilets have gone the way of fridges and washing machines - they're not built to last any more. The plastic flush mechanism in Dads toilet (non-in wall) in his ~10 year old home keeps failing on average every 2 years, at $130 a pop to replace it. I don't see the point in making a toilet in wall - you still see the bowl anyways.

Each to their own - I suppose this site isn't to critique others purchasing habits and desires, it's to provide cheaper prices than can normally be found.

  • That is a ugly toilet! Reminds me of school!

  • Any plumbers out there?

Over the decades I've had to replace the flush and ball/float system in a few toilet cisterns. Do these
in wall/invisible cisterns have 'special' internals that 'last forever' or do you occasionally have to rip open the wall/bulkhead to service them?

    Appreciate any feedback, thanks.

  • Rep, I think u should mention it's VIC only…(unless u do deliveries) :)

  • These things are made for more public places or health testing center to stop vandalism and people from hiding samples/drugs/weapons in the cistern. would be very inconvenient for home use as TonyP said above

  • Can't believe I'm defending a brand of toilet here but I've only had a caroma toilet and I only remember my parents ever having caroma's and I've never had a breakdown.

Like all other things there are good and very average brands and you do get what you pay for. You may be saving money in the long run in buying a good quality toilet rather than just the cheapest one going.
