    Count it as a day stopover to tour Singapore.

    Bonus if you managed to sleep on the flight so you can skip booking hotel room.

    This can work out better. Rather than the standard 24 hour run of connecting flights you can spend a day in Singapore and have some fun.

    Hi - I just tried on the Scoot website, and 20kg checked bags were an extra $236 in total ($118 outbound + $118 inbound).

  We booked our flights to Zurich on the last iwtf deal. Chucked a bit of a sad finding out now it's half price to fly to Berlin (close enough since we were gonna travel to a few cities anyway) and back during a arguably nicer time of the year.

  Then just found out this was for scoot flights, didn't know they do long haul flights now. Knowing scoot is part of the SQ fleet, would they put you on a A380 on a flight to Europe?

  Edit: just saw above checked baggage isn't included!? Ok in that case, it's actually cheaper to fly on the previous deal.

    I actually want to stopover in Singapore, so picking the 40 hour option wasn't a problem for me.

    Ive been upgraded to SQ from a scoot flight on 2 occasions now so I just wondered if it was a possibility.

  Pretty much every flight out of Australia is long haul.

  Scoot is the Jetstar of SQ, so it has it's own fleet od A320's and Dreamliners. Also, the way Scoot works is that every flight other than SIN is actually two flights. One to SIN, then another to your destination, so expect to stopover in Singapore for a bit.

  Happened to be looking for flights yesterday for a trip to Turkey, Iran. Saudi Arabia and stumbled on Scoots deals. Pretty amazing prices, now I have to stick to that 10kg carry on limit. $409aud one way, Melbourne to Athens end Sept, 7hr layover in Singapore! Would have loved to be a true Ozbargainer and book 5th Oct for $319 but need the extra week of travel time, mostly to recover from what will be an uncomfortable flight for long legs!
