      I'm looking for first ever NBN connection and apparently I have FTTN at 50/20
      Telstra etc address checkers all say 50/20

      Exetel apparently defaults to the 100 plan for my address? So don't see how that's possible.

      Did you select the exetel modem?

      What happens when you switch, you have to keep buying modems?

    I negged the previous deal, because I never got the gift card … I wont neg it this time, but leave this comment as a warning.

    Also T&C says the gift cards are only valid for 3 months, which is kind of crappy.

          I had to order a nbn so ordered through this, fingers crossed for the GC otherwise will switch. Selected exetel 100.

      Hey Salmon, everyone who is eligible for the Gift card has received their gift cards, you can go on the previous deals, where they have mentioned that they did receive the Gift cards.

      Further T&C says the gift cards are only valid for 3, which are the terms and conditions woolies have, we are just trying to be transparent and upfront so that our customers don't face any issues.

        I'm pretty sure regular Woolworths gift cards don't have any expiry and the legal requirement is now 3 years. 3 months is just something you're allowed to get away with because it's a promotional gift. It's definitely not a Woolworths restriction. How about you get your facts straight, before sprouting non-sense in a public forum?

      I have not seen a WW / WISH gift card with an expiry date. I thought they got rid off expiry dates a long while ago.

        I think gift cards/vouchers given out as a part of a promotion can still have an expiry. Case in point in is David Jones reward gift cards (given to members as freebies or with a purchase) only have a 30/90 day expiry.

        I guess woolworths/econnex is following this model too.

              I did read the T&Cs from the More Telecom deal. However, I assumed it was a generic statement from other similar promotions.
              It really didn't sink in until your comment above.

              Even Budget Direct doesn't pull this kind of shi**y stunts with their WW eGC incentives.

                @DoctorCalculon: Agree the 3 month gift card expiry should be highlighted in the post itself but don't think it's fair to call it a crappy stunt though. The hundred bucks is still a bonus if you were switching providers anyway and yeah unfortunately promo gift cards can have expiries still but shouldn't be hard to spend it within the time frame

    I’m still waiting for my gift card from when I signed up for a new service on 25/03. Still with Superloop, haven’t cancelled. Chased up Econnex and wasn’t helpful.

    I would be cautious of this deal

      Has it been 90 days from date of activation rather than sign up date? Econnec T&Cs is GC after 90days from activation.

      25th March (Sign up date) to today is pretty much close to that 90 days mark.. so should get it soon may be if the activation date is also 25/03 or within 2-3 days from then?

    Just my anecdotal account - I switched energy providers in one of the previous Econnex deals and received my 4x $50 gift cards with no issues. It was sent to my email address after about a month and a half. (Thanks for posting OP)

    Unlucky timing as I switched NBN providers 3 weeks ago, otherwise I'd jump on this deal.

    I just had a look now and was thinking of changing to exetel but then when hitting apply it shows $69.95 per month for the 50mbps plan, even though the previous page said it was $15 off for first 6 months, so it is unclear if that still applies when going through econnex?

    I tried the Econnex Groupon Voucher for a $20 woolworths gift card. Despite fulfilling the terms of the voucher, I still have not received the gift card. Pretty sad that they might do that for such a small amount..
