That it does, but I more pay attention to the written reviews than the overall star rating. To me there's just too many negative reviews there.
Read what they have said in the reviews, there's a fair amount of people not so happy with it
I suspect those -ve or 1 star reviews did not buy directly from Amazon?
I had this controller before.
It's rubbish.
Cheaply made and feels nothing near as good as the original gamecube controller.
Honestly better off getting a used original gamecube controller and then an aftermarket gamecube to USB adaptor if you want a "authentic" Smash Bros experience.
Otherwise you would be wasting your money on this as there is only one other game you would use it on (Mario sunshine).
There's also the authentic nintendo remake controllers they released for the wii u with smash that are great quality too(they have a smashbros logo and flame above the start instead of the gamecube symbol). Can confirm these power a ones are garbage.
They did another drop of these when Smash came out on switch. I’m not sure how much they go for in the second hand market but at one point they were selling for $200 each.
Both the WiiU and Switch GameCube to USB adapters released at the same time work with the Dolphin Emulator on PC.
@TightLikeThisx: yeah had a look for them after I wrote the comment, looks like the new ones have just the smash bros orb logo without the flame now. They seem to be about $88 imported from japan new, which seems to be cheaper than the second hand ones.
So glad I kept my adaptor. Got the pack back on wii u with smash, controller and adaptor. Adaptor alone is going for $80-100 now.
Whats the point of this when there arent gamecube games on the switch (via emu)….? Not better off buying a cheap wired pro controller instead…?
Used a lot for smash bros since melee was when smash bros took off. There is also Mario Sunshine with some gamecube controller support.
