  • How long is 2TB gonna last with 8x streams with that resolution!!

    • -1

      8.5 minutes.

    • Obviously you lower the quality to less used channels .. but even 1080 on one channel constant record is roughly 1tb for one and a half months .. (at least with the the old 4 chan DVR)

  • 2 weeks approx

    bnc cable yuk….

    • Yep not using ethernet cabling, if it was ethernet I would have grabbed it

    • Like it makes any difference.

      • if got existing utp cabling yes fu$king big difference

        • For video transmission it doesn't

  • That's horrible. NVR or nothing

    • Its got LAN

      • Yeah but the cameras themselves require BNC coaxial, ancient tech, ip cameras and NVR are the way to go.
If ever you have to upgrade you will have to rip out all these cables and re-run ethernet.
I'm surprised there are even cameras that use these cables in this day and age.
Guess that's why it's on sale.

        • Id rather BNC over PoE.. Theres a reason its still around ;)

          • @DMFD: What's the reason? I can't think of one

            • @DoesntEvenMatter: I forgot. Probably some smart ass comment about how they stay attached when you tug on them.
