Plus $250 for the stand. Ridiculous price.

    • Can just place it on a cheap outdoor foldable table.

    • Got my stand with FlyBuys

  • That is a great great price but this version does not come with the thermometer in the outside compared to the 2200. Genuinely curious (as I'm tossing up between them), how useful is it?

I’ve had the Q3000 for a couple of years and have never missed the lid thermometer. When roasting I use a wireless probe, and otherwise a handheld does the job.

The higher lid is probably of more use. The only time it’s caused me issue is standing up a beer can chicken. It fit, but just. This one is smaller than mine though.

I have the large weber (Family Q 3200) with thermometer. I can tell you I hardly look at it. I could easily live without the thermometer.

    • I got a thermometer from ebay, drilled a hole in the lid. $10 and 5 mins.

I'd give it +/- 10C compared to what my probes measure. Which can make a big difference. But yeah, the extra height is worth it.

    • The thermometer not so much.

The higher lid is absolutely worth the extra imo. This is not a very big bbq to start with.
