  • Amaing price, but the wind noise in the mic, and the near zero stabilisation has me out sorry.
I'll go 2nd hand old gopro for that money.

    • Not intended to be a GoPro competitor given its small form factor. I can recommend plenty of other GoPro alternatives better than this.

      • My bad, I thought it was trying to compete in the 'Insta360 GO' space; which advertised itself as competing with the GoPro Session, as the smallest VLOG worthy/Action cam.

Whom do you suggest they're trying to compete with?
Or are they aiming for their own market, perhaps the body-cam market for security workers and such?

        • TIL about the GoPro Session. Massive massive difference in price so there really isn't a comparison.

          • @Clear: Oh of course, but there needs to be a market for what they offer, is all I was saying.
And if you're the type who HAS TO buy new, and needs that form factor, then agreed, there's no comparison.

If you can handle a squarer camera though, Akaso and Campark really step up to the plate.

With that agreed, if 2nd hand is OK by you, as it approaches $100; a quick Gumtree says that gopro 3 and 4 are available for WELL below that price (arguably, with enough change to buy a new battery for it).

And if the the target market for this camera isn't the wearable/mountable camera market, then I've either missed what it's for, or they've advertised it poorly, because their photos show it on a helmet, and on some handlebars (exactly the gopro market from my experience).

      • What's a GoPro alternative for $250?

  • thanks for the feedback
