    Your laser engraving machine sounds promising, but what I really want is an engraving laser.

    I mean, sure, I like fancy stuff as much as the next man, but what what would I even engrave on my laser, even if I bought this?

    I had a diode laser and it would cut 3mm birch.. I upgraded to a 50w co2 laser and recently changed the tube. For the life of me can't get the mirrors aligned again.. if anyone has one and lives in Sydney that can spare an hour to check it out ( happy to pay ) it would be appreciated… sorry to hijack the thread but don't know anyone that has one and thought they would see this and check it out ..

    Just a heads up for people, as its a diode laser, I don't believe it can cut through clear acrylic due to the wavelength of the light. It can still engrave onto it with a few tricks (paints, tapes, etc etc)

    I could be wrong. Do some research if this is your goal.

      That’s 30w electrical power. The laser is only 5.5w optical power.

      The new OLM3 advertised is 10w optical.

      Hi Devil, OLM3 is the latest product of Ortur and support APP control and is more friendly for newbies.
      I personally would recommend the latest product OLM3 and it is a good time to buy now at an early bird price.
