Nice, got it last time with the same $20 deal. I was getting chilblains on my toes and this was warm enough. Will get another one.

It's sad when Chinese imports are being portrayed as Australian.
If you put Australia in the name of the product and the company store enough people will assume its Australian Made..

    • +8

Never assume. It's makes an A$$ out U and ME

      • They're not wrong though

    • -3

That's what my wife said about me! :-(

      "But I'm not a mainlander!!!"

    • +2

      enough people will assume

Fools and their money. No sympathy here…

    • Nope, with globalisation I only assume it's australian made if it says so and has the australian made logo …. else I know the difference between australian made vs australian company that imports stuff ….. vs australian style …… I recall a time when australian army uniforms were made off-shore …was still australian army uniform …..

    • +2

Your living in the past man. I'm a baby boomer, we took it all left the coming gens with nothing.

      • Thanks for acknowledging that your generation is the selfish one.

    • +2

half the "aussie" brands you grew up with are owned by foreign entities now. they all play aussie dressup in their marketing. ironically if these were actually australian made and cost 5x more, people would probably care even less.

  • +1

Wow, List Price Was: AU $217.25 - Bargain!

    • +2

      They're good friends with Jack.

Super inflated RRP means they can constantly appear to be "on sale" 🙄

  • The slippers are UGG-ly, thanks OP

    • -6

The slippers are UGG-ly, thanks OP

Buy these if you want your romance life to get bUGGered forever.

  • +1

Is that a pleather upper? Ew.

    • +3

This thing gonna peel real quick… A throw away in a month or two

    • read description….."sheepskin upper" ….. lining "sheepskin wool".

      • Mate look at the photos. All of them bar the one grey colour are clearly pleather uppers.

        • +1

after they scape the meat off the sheepskin, it has suede like finish on one side and wool on the other …… if they tan and polish and treat the the leather it goes shiny ….. else all leather would look like suede …. my leather jacket is shiney lambskin ….. but not plastic, the leather on shoes is shiney cow skin , but they aren't plastic …..

if it arrives as plastic, send it back as "not as described" and for the $20 seller would probably refund and say keep the slippers as it costs too much to return …..

    • yes well picked up, I will pass on this - plus they are all girly colours

  • +11

Had a pair of these and they wore out in 6 months. Better off paying the $31 for the Aussie made ones. My pair of those have been going strong for 2 years now.

    • +2

Yup buy trash it becomes trash quicker. Get the Aussie made ones. Stop supporting the commies

      • -1

Yep, don't buy TV from china, or phone from china, or clothes from china, captain even the tent you would live in off the grid is made in china …..

        • +1

yes, support the good guys that spreads freedom and democracy. cheap stuff will soon all be made in Vietnam…oh snaps

          • +1

@Creamsoda: Ah yes Vietnam, the bastion of freedom and democracy

    • $89 now…

      • +2

Nope, use the discount code WARM $31

        • Nope, use the discount code WARM $31

Not valid. I tried many variations of warm$31, warm $31, Warm, WARM, with brackets as the original deal suggested and without etc none of them work…
Reading the comments from the that thread it seems many others have the same issue.

          • +1

@1st-Amendment: go to the checkout page towards the end and enter the discount WARM there and it works

            • @prankster:

go to the checkout page towards the end and enter the discount WARM there and it works

              Right, that worked thanks!

          • @1st-Amendment: definitely works bud, bought a pair for my partner

    • how much do you weigh and how often did you wear them?

      • +1

90kg, and wear them 2-4 days a week during cold seasons working from home (Alternating with my full sized uggs depending on how cold the day is).

        • thanks. realised they dont have my size anyway

  • got something similar from the same seller from a recent deal, and the sizing runs really small - exchanged them for a size bigger and they're still borderline too small. YMMV.

  • Any vegan options?

  • +5

These ones have surprisingly way outlasted my Aussie made ones in the other deals. They still look in great condition after a year of use. YMMV.

    • +1

Are you sure these are the same? These appear to have a shiny surface on top and appear to be bonded with the top layer which will peel off

      • If not these ones, they're something very similar and likely from the same factory as the appearance is almost identical.

    • I haved same experince, my chinese made ugg boots have outlasted my australian made ones. My chinese made ones have an outdoor sole made of foam and rubber bottom, my australian ones were foam only ….. to cost make ugg boots with outdoor soles might be to high for domestic market and dockers have naming rights outside of australia so limited export opportunities.

hope we see some good ugg boot deals with outdoor soles.

  • Ordered from this seller and they marked my parcel as return to sender. Had to get eBay to step in

    UGG Australian Sheepskin Classic

    Not made in Australia.

    • +3

It never claimed to be made in Australia.

This classic slip-on design with soft Australian sheepskin

    • -2

      soft Australian sheepskin

I know they’re not Australian made

      • +1

I know they’re not Australian made

If you know they're not made in Australia, I've nothing more for you.

My comment was to inform people who didn't know they're NOT made in Australia, despite the company trying desperately to look very "Australian" (UGG Australian Sheepskin blah blah express Australia).

        • +4

I’m just a deal poster mate, no need to come out that harsh

I’ve already informed in the description of this deal that it’s not Australian made and I just copied the same format from the previous eBay deal

          • +2

@BargainsGrabber: Not sure why you have to take any of this personally or think I am being harsh to you as I am pointing out what the store is doing, which I suppose you are not the owner of.

I don't want to spend $20 on a cheap quality product that will end up in landfill really quickly. I'd rather spend more money and buy a locally made product that will be heaps better, and will also have sizes larger than 8.

            • +2

@CocaKoala: ok I have to agree with you CocaKoala. Only because I have owned a few non-Australian made ones and they're all rubbish. I always laughed at my wife who would only buy the Aussie made ones and paid premium price. But while i've changed 3, she is still using hers that she bought many years ago. So who's laughing now!

Can't comment on the quality of these ones posted as I haven't used them, so I'm abstaining my vote. Just sharing my first hand experiences, hopefully it'll help someone.

And yes, I don't think OP should take CocaKoala's comment personally.

But at the same time, CocaKoala, I also don't think a negging the deal was necessary if you haven't used their product. Unless you want to report the store name as misleading/false advertising.

              • @Mr Frodo: Thanks Mr Frodo, nah I didn’t take CocaKoala comment personally

                • +2

                  @BargainsGrabber:

I didn’t take CocaKoala comment personally

I thought you did say I was being harsh, which came as a surprise to me. But if you are not taking it personally, then cheers mate. Do note that I said nothing about you at all, and everything I said has been either about the product or about the wannabe Australian store.

                  • +1

@CocaKoala: No worries, yeh I do understand about the eBay UGG store not being transparent about Made in Australia products. I do buy and own products that are Australian made like a pair of RMs as I believe in the quality vs inferior quality

                    Cheers!

    • +2

      https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/265427040411?hash=item3dccaf389b
They actually have made in australia ugg slippers.
I always go out of my way to buy australian made where possible. in this case it will be an extra $17 which seems worth it to me.

      • +1

        Thank you for that!

  • +2

Only Sizes M and L (between Size AU 7 and 10). No sizes 11 + for those of us with large feet :(

  • +6

Foam is garbage - durable for wearing out and about? Yeah nah.

Why would you contribute to the bogan crowd by wearing these out to the supermarket, absorb the euck, then back onto your own carpets?

At the very lease save the landfill and buy something with a rubber sole.

    • Australian shepherd have the rubber soles but they haven't done deals this year on ozbargain unlike last year …..

wouldn't wear to supermarket incase I run into someone I know, but handy when in the car to get take-away, take our garbage, etc and I can't be bothered changing footwear.

    • the middle upper class offend me more

  • If these are the same as the ones I bought a few years ago then the heel will wear out after one winter. Buyer beware.

  • Those claimed to be Australian made were sourcing all parts from China and only made final stitches in Australia.

  • +5

People seem to be too caught up in country of origin rather than the quality and price ……. and nothing in the add claims to be made in australia,

whats' next "australian company but owner isn't australian or was wasn't born in australia"

focus on the deal ….quality and price.

    • The previous $20 eBay deal did so well and that wasn’t Australian made either

Thought this new eBay deal would do the same internet points but ppl were too caught up about “Made in China” and not focusing on the $20 price

      • +1

good deal, but I'm after boots not slippers ….

      • These appear to be different UGG's.. contrast this OP listing with these other slippers also sold by same seller: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/255453573264?_trkparms=amclksrc%…

        • These are the previous ones, looks similar but they removed the 'premium sheepskin' from the listing picture.

Also different brand, this deal is EVERAU, looks to be these ones

          • @CodeXD: Yes you are right CodeXD, the EVERAU website clearly shows bonded PU top, which will peel.

      • +3

You should never just focus on price. That's a bad philosophy. You should always have quality included in the picture.
Reason people are caught up with it is for two reasons, 1 is generally inferior quality to locally produced products. Second the company presents it as an australian company but misleads when most of their products are not.
I do my research so it never bothers me. but its a marketing ploy which can affect people less informed.
Also your description of materials, does not match the products listed, the products are nappa (?leather) but states sheepskin. I know nappa is derived from sheepskin, but when the product looks like a leather, why not write leather? My guess is it's not real leather.

  • +3

    What is medium and large

    • medium was too small for me, i fkd up

  • -1

Thanks, bought one for next winter. 20$ for one winter is good enough for me. Always better to have a new pair each every winter, rather than take the smelled used one from previous year.

    • +1

Contributing to needless landfill, nice one. Better off buying better quality end-of-season sheepskin footwear as it doesn't stink anyway.

      • These are biodegradable. Easy to decompose. On the other hand, the better the quality, the longer it takes to decompose. Not worth it.

  • +4

    Size Available:
    AU Ladies 7/8 / AU Men 5/6 / EU 38/39
    AU Ladies 9/10 / AU Men 7/8 / EU 40/41

So i assume L size for men = size 7/8, that's kind of small

  • These are for ants lol or very small footed people… Large size for men is size 8???

    • The worst thing is that you need to buy 3 pairs.

  • +2

Upper is not sheepskin. More plastic flakes everywhere after two uses.

  • Is the sole thicker than the last deal

    • +1

Which deal did it feeture in?

  • +2

Thanks op! Love the nappa finish on uggs.

    • +2

yeah, i like the napa finish also as doesn’t stain as easily as suede …..

  • +1

Seems like code PLUSUGG20 is expired ?

  • EXPIRED: Unfortunately, this code no longer works. Please continue with your order.

  • Wow, the large is pretty small as mentioned above

    • Did you receive yours today? What size are you normally and how much smaller is the large ones?

      • Im normally a 9-9.5 and if i squeeze my feet into the slipper, my heels just overhang ever so slightly. So would assume the L is an 8

  • As others have commented, these are tiny. Definitely not Large.

They are a couple sizes bigger than my partners feet and she usually wears a size 6 women's…

Ah well, I guess she gets a surprise new set of slippers.

  • +1

what a waste of time. item not as described. 'large' unisex does not mean a size 6 womens

  • Medium is too small for me, I messed up there. But these don't seem warm for sheepskin, toes still cold with light socks….
