Looks to be the cheapest I've seen the 34GN850-B to date. Not a bad deal if you want a quality 160hz IPS ultrawide.

    • This is a different monitor

    • Flat vs curved.

That's a pretty good deal but I believe these are some of the points that justify the price difference:

      • Superior warranty/returns service from Amazon
      • The LG has a curved display which is generally preferred for gaming on an ultrawide
      • The LG has more ports (USB hub, headphone jack etc)

go look for the gigabyte 4k oled

why are people still forking 1k for a wqhd ips…

    • Which one specifically? Still looking for “the monitor”

    • No local dimming. Horrific LG IPS contrast ratio and black uniformity. What a joke.

Better off spending $700 more for the QD-OLED or a lot less for something simpler.

      • Not sure why this is being negged, no one should buy this at this price.

        • +3

Probably being negged because of buyers remorse LOL

          • @Yeahbudsimmons: This thing came out 2 years ago… No one would of known an qd oled was coming out or would of waited until 2022 for it to release. Paid $1600 when this first released and I got my money's worth out of this monitor even though it's sitting in my garage now next to my Acer x34 after upgrading to a AW3423DW

Looking for a reasonably priced professional monitor and chair. Any good deals around?

Check out this website called OzBargain. Dot this dot that… there’s an “au” in there somewhere…

Well in his defence, he is probably looking for peoples opinions on some of the "deals" as a lot of junk gets posted on here as "deals/ bargains" as well. So ideally good to also get opinions / reviews from people who might have more knowledge on the area .

        • sure but I have no idea what he wants, he can get a decent idea just looking at cheapest vs expensive gear

          • +3

@abctoz: Probably best option maybe to put in a forum thread on here. Then again at times i find more people see your question and respond to it if you post it in a deal thread than a forum thread.

    • I'll sell u my used chair. $100

  • The 38” is also discounted.

  • From what I read and watched on some reviews this one is cheaper but the same type of LG monitor LG 34GP83A-B 34 Inch 21: 9 Ultragear Curved QHD (3440 x 1440) 1ms Nano IPS Gaming Monitor. Though it may not be on sale or not available in Australia.

  • Thanks OP. Ended up getting the 38" instead https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B089QM32WW?th=1

Not sure what all the negging and whinging is in here.

This is a great monitor and my favourite yet.
I downgraded from a CRG90 and am so glad I did.

I personally feel 32 is the sweet spot for both gaming and productivity.

The colors on this model are fine as is the contrast and brightness.
It got very good reviews across the board everywhere I've seen, unless that's somehow changed recently.

If you're on the fence I'd say go it.
Sure there's other options. There always will be.

But I like this monitor and trust LG on quality products.

    Happy bargaining!

  • are there anybody know if there will be a good price for gp950-b?

  • What are the returns like with LG/Amazon? Tempted to give it a go but would like the safety net of free returns. TIA
