Amazing timing. I was looking at something similar at Woodbury and happy to take the cheaper product https://woodburyfurniture.com.au/collections/kai-living/prod…

    • Gratz

    • Congratulations

    • +4

Amazing timing. I was just thinking about having a mimosa!

  • +3

It says delivery included for my local store, not bad!

  • Do you need any maintenance or just leave it outdoor without cover?

    • +3

I reckon you’ll need maintenance if you leave it outdoors without cover.

    • I would not leave cushions out in rain like we just had on the east coast.

    • And you probably need to apply a clear coat on the wooden side and coffee table once in a while.

  • +2

Can this be split into 2 separate seaters?

    • +12

Pick up a good-quality axe from Bunnings and you’re all set. Practice on something in your neighbour’s yard first, though

      • +1

Or just take your time and use a bread knife.

      • Practise.

  • +12

    Thanks Price Hipster:)

    • +5

Doesn't get enough credit around here.

      • +3

No it really doesn't. Especially for such a decent website. 4 words to add to a description lol.

        Credit to Price Hipster

  • nice find

  • This thing is bloody huge.

    • +22

      That's what she said.

      • +3

Yes. Username checks out so must be true.

  • +3

I believe the price is the same on the company's website.

    • +1

      I found the same

  • +1

So this is about 2.5 X 2.5m? Would it look weird in the living room?

    • +6

I think it will, this is for outdoor not indoor

    • +1

I'd be more worried about it feeling uncomfortable.

    • +1

Just cut a hole in your ceiling.

    • It didn’t look too weird at my local dentist’s waiting area and it was indoors. Put some useless magazines on the table and it’ll look fine.

  • Does anyone have any more accurate dimensions than those displayed on the Bunnings page?

  • +1

Does the height looks pretty short?

    • +1

Once you sit down you won’t want to get back up

    • It does

    • Depends how tall you are

  • Bargain

  • +7

I'm a very regular visitor to Bunnings and there is no way this was ever $1999.

    • +2

The mimosa website is showing $599… Where is Bunnings selling for$1999 lol

    • +4

Holy smokes how many people have been ripped off at Bunno's

      • +6

Lowest prices are just the beginning. But not actually right at the beginning. That’s a bit too soon

        • +4

Lowest prices are just the begining, but once we have cornered the market the prices are going up and we are going to make a fortune.

They just never have enough time on the adds for the full slogan.

      • -1

How else would bunnings make more then $1b in profits last year?

      • Fair enough

        • +2

You (like me) just can't fathom anyone spending 2k on it. You probably walk around the shop only looking for things with a yellow sticker

    • +2

Price Hipster says it has between $1999-$2469 from 17/09/2020 to yesterday.

      https://pricehipster.com/product/_Io0cRQSR-n-t5ilDwdVyw~HJ1K…

      • Fair enough

    • +1

I've been looking at these at Bunnings regularly thinking $2k was way too much so $600 seems about right! Thanks OP

      • +1

Yeah. $2k is silly. $600 delivered seems pretty good though! I'll give it a +.

    • +2

I looked at this recently shopping for outdoor set, was definitely $1999
Quality was better the Mimosa Solaris but me and the wife both found the fabric itchy
Ended up with a set from Freedom but definitely would of done this for $599, suspect is a price error but we’ll see!

      • I doubt it, unless bunnings and the company are both making the same mistake at the same time

        • They are the exclusive reseller for mimosa, Bunnings price will always match the suppliers website

    • +2

I too visit bunnings regularly and yeah it was 2K…

  • What the dimension of the cushions?

    • +26

The cushions are three-dimensional. But when you sit on them they rapidly become two-dimensional. Amazing tech

      • +2

        Interdimensional travel cushions.

      • OK, how many cm long and wide are the cushions?
Wonder if the cushions will fit on my old couch.

        • How many cm long and wide is your couch?

          • +1

            @serpserpserp: Read that as

"How many cm long and wide is your cooch?"

            😂😂😂

  • +6

Says regular price $599 on power pass app

The cushions on these things are horrid, impractical seating, will be on your verge within 18 months unless it’s well protected from the elements, it is what it is for a reason.. no one wants it

    • +2

I wouldn’t want to sit on it, but it does lol like a nice outdoor dog lounge
      Low to jump on etc

    • Is there a discount on Powerpass?

    • +1

I will need one on about 18 months, can someone call me when they put it on the verge?

  • +1

Idk if I needed this I just bought it. Thoughts on quality/value?

    • +2

Good quality for this value. And good value for this quality

  • Thanks op, ordered, great price.

  • Grabbed one with the free delivery. Big thanks.

  • Thanks op ordered

  • Sweet. Got one to enjoy these warm July nights

  • +4

Grabbed one for when the MiL comes to stay.

  • Are these on the floor in-store to view? The HnK is requesting a viewing prior to agreeing to purchase lol.

    • Human natural Killer?

      • Honey Kitchen

    • +1

Mine also said the same thing.. Hahaha

      • +2

I'm doing well. Mine gave immediate approval, even though she's not completely enamoured of the style.

    • What is HnK? I ordered it from Bunnings and it didn't ask for anything. Although, I would've definitely loved to inspect it before purchasing, I can consider returning it if I don't like the quality.

      • +1

        HugsNKisses

All returned goods must be unused, in original packaging and in saleable condition

        total weight: 75kg

That'll be fun to disassemble, repack & transport back…

      • Hugs n Kisses (missus)

        • What are we living in some sort of romantic comedy here? 🤮

    • Actual product depends on your assembly skills may just resemble professional marketing photography

  • +1

Got one for upcoming Christmas BBQ.

    • +7

  • +2

    • -1
