        • flybuy promos if you have one
    • Note that it's only in stock at brisbane, and seemingly nowhere else.

OMG still available after 30 minutes, Xboxes are doomed.

    • No. MS just aren’t cheap and pay to secure chips.

Sony have really dropped the ball. They still lead, but MS are closing the gap.

In the US, the most important market, it’s now neck and neck.

"dropped the ball"…. By selling more consoles than x&s combined if your data is correct?

Also remember that the series S die size is much smaller - ie more chips produced per wafer. Based on this Sony are buying more chips from tsmc than Microsoft so unclear what your mean.

Regardless, both companies selling literally all the consoles they produce.

(I own both, I really don't care about console war nonsense)

        • By selling more consoles than x&s combined if your data is correct?

They probably would of sold a lot more and had an even larger lead on MS if they actually had secured a reliable supply. Hence, they dropped the ball.

Also remember that the series S die size is much smaller - ie more chips produced per wafer. Based on this Sony are buying more chips from tsmc than Microsoft so unclear what your mean.

Again, MS had the foresight to create an option that was both cheaper to produce and easier to manufacture.

I'm guessing his comment was an attemp at sarcasm as he has posted mainly positive comments about Xbox.

      • Lol

      In stock = failed product?

      2022 in a nutshell

Membership required to save $14. What a joke. Got more than $14 in cashrewards from buying through BigW

    • +1

Cashback is ineligible on the entire electronic gaming category, including (but not limited to) consoles, controllers, games, headsets, and accessories. Cashback is also ineligible on Apple, Dyson, baby food & formula, on purchase or redemption of gift cards, when using codes not listed on Cashrewards, and on GST.

      • -2

Its been revised. Was valid for the past 2 years of new xbox/ps5 existance.

  • +7

Isn't it cheaper buying from Microsoft with 10% discounted Xbox GCs from Shopback?

    • +2

      Yes.

But at least this is below RRP, instead of the terrible bundle pricing people post here normally.

      • Yup those Gamesmen bundles were brutal, $1400+ was such a pisstake

    • Yeah. This post = why?

  • OzRRP is dead

  • So finally I can price protection after 1.5 years.

    • +1

Price protection won't work against Costco.

      • +1

Then what's super effective against Costco?

        • +10

Fairy and Dragon type moves, duh

  • How often does Microsoft store restock their series X? I'd like to take advantage of the xbox gift cards on shopback when I can

    • often enough for it to be low risk

  • +10

    Best console hands down

    Good time to score one

    • +1

      No pun intended! :)

    • +4

First signs of inflationary pressures receding..?

  • -6

need a yearly member ship of 60 bucks with costco to get 16 bucks off lol yeah let me at it. lol

    • clearly you can revisit Costco on any of the other 364 days of the year right?

or get their fuel for a lot cheaper?

    • You know you can get a full refund for your membership no questions asked right?

  • Is this online only? Or are they selling in store ? Would be cheaper to pickup good deal

    • Would be cheaper to pickup

      Read the link.

      Price includes delivery

      • Often their online prices are inflated ~$10 to account for this "free delivery" though.

    • +1

So I'm the one who posted it on the Xbox group. The pic I posted there was in store. It's the exact same price in store as it is online, there is no markup at all. Also with Costco online, sometimes it's actually cheaper for things than it is in store.

  • from the deal
    Frequently Bought Together:

    Sprite Lemon Lime 24 x 375 ml
    Eufy Smart Fitness Scale
    NordicTrack E7.5Z Elliptical Trainer NTEL05917

    • +1

Game while running on the treadmill, hydrate with sprite, weigh self after session. Repeat.

  • I know Sprite has been in games since the 2D video game days.

    • Reported to mods and they won't remove this nonsense.

I guess mods are a-ok with OzBargain becoming a source for spreading disinformation conspiracy theories. New low for this place.

  • -5

As predicted. XBOX prices starting to come down because no one wants a shit console except fanboyz

    • -3

School holidays are over. Back to school.

Says the brainwashed sheep! Get off the internet and get to bed kid

    • +1

I've had my Series X since launch and it has been awesome. Highly recommend. Not a fanboy of any platform, I've been gaming for over 25 years and have used all (PC, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo, Sega, etc.)
I'm assuming you don't own one?

  • plus for Costco return policy

    • What's their return policy now? Can I return it in 4 years time for a refund if I no longer like it? Asking for a mate.

  • 2 pallets at Costco Ringwood VIC (approximately 60 units per pallet.
    1 single unit was taken.

  • Can I get the console only anywhere else? Except costco?

  • Xbox pallet at Costco Casula NSW.
    Same price. Heaps available

  • Stuck on "Awaiting payment" via checkout… Ugh.

  • +1
