How does this compare to the LG C2?
Can you get the Binge (Foxtel) app?

    • Yes you can, it runs Android TV.

Pretty good deal for this size but you'll quickly notice that 4K doesn't quite cut it at that size (personal experience with 77") and you can clearly start to see image degradation, unless you're sitting 10 metres away, which defeats the purpose really.

8K is on the horizon and would be better suited to this size and above as and when content is released for it. It's been a slow start to the generation but ramping up. It was a big focus at CES earlier in the year.

I would argue that 8K is minimum 5 years away. There's no current use for it besides bragging rights. No real media, and definitely no streaming/broadcast media will be on this for a while yet. It's all upscaling and as another said if you're going 77" and above that's about the only time that tech can help.

Not claiming to be an expert, but I personally wouldn't touch 8K until there's reachable content for it.

This model doesn't come in 77 inch.

I sit 4 metres from my 83" A90J, and it's been the best viewing experience of my life. Interstellar and Mad Max: Fury Road ( in actual 4K) look insane on this screen.

Are you watching an 4K Blu-ray? Or a 3gb '4K' file you torrented?

      • It was a 77" C1 and mostly reference to PS5 gaming. Can see noticeable quality drop vs 65" at same res.

No low bitrate downloaded content, physical disc collector for both games and movies.

      10m away from a 77. That's the dumbest thing I've read.

http://tools.rodrigopolo.com/display_calc/ Use a retina calculator. You won't be able to see the pixels on an 83" once you're 1.6m away at 4k, let alone 10m.

        I. Read. The. Post.
However. If. There. Is. No. Stock. This. Can't. Be. A. Deal.
It should be put in the low supply thread.

          You. Go. In. Store.

          You. Can't. Read.

@scuderiarmani: Honestly. What OP is telling people try your chance despite no stock listed you go in to a store and hope they will sell it to you. You realise that this is an outgoing model and is phased out. You're making no sense.
The website doesn't even mention backordering

Worst case is that you pay $5756.

Well no, worst case is you pay $6,396. The 10% gift cards cannot be used in the same transaction.
