  • Grabbed some. had a pair of soundcore Q20 that i loved but the band broke after 2 years of wear.. warranty sent a full refund, so buying these to replace.

    • how long is their warranty?

      • +2

        18 months for headphones.

        • is it the same if you buy it from aliexpress?

          • @Yoopy: Not sure, what does their listing say?
I bought mine from Amazon US in Sep 2021, had a successful claim in Jun 2022, the replacement arrived from Amazon AU. They let me keep the original ones

            • @Crimzic: mines not broken yet, but its acting up, but its been over 12 months…

        • yes 18 month sorry, not 2 years.

  • How do these compare with the Sennheiser HD 450BT headphones that are going for $119 on Prime at the moment?

Looking to buy a couple pairs of decent ANC headphones for the kids (11 & 14) but not willing to spend Sony/Bose money.

    • +1

was tossing between HD 450BT and the Q30s, but went for the Q30s they'd be similar anyhow, just trying this one over the other.

    • Ankar has a microphone and Sennheiser doesn’t

      • What? Both can be used for voice calls.

how do you get 119$ price mate? I want to buy one but the current Prime special price still 168$?

      • +1

It is an expired deal now. The model was the 450SE.

Anc doesn't work when wired if you want to use them on a flight wired

    • Yeah it's a no for me then. Thanks.

    • Apparently it's a firmware thing so it's something they may change back in the future, hopefully.

      • Q35 is already out, doubt it will be fixed. It used to work but they must have found hardware issue so disabled it.

  • What do you guys think about these for gaming? Is there a latency issue, or will they function fine as wireless gaming headphones over something like a corsair hs70?

      • Thanks for that. Looks like they'll be fine latency wise if you use them wired, but no bueno for gaming wireless with that 300ms latency. Cheers.

  • How’s the ANC? Good enough for a train commute?

    • +1

I have these, ANC is pretty good, about 80% compared to Sony 1000XM3, which is quite decent. But as I said in another comment they did a firmware update that stopped it from working in wired mode. It ruins it for use in planes if you want to use their entertainment system with your headphones.

Q35 are $200 and they fix this issue but not worth paying 2x for. If only using BT then i'd go with these.

I was looking to grab some for the kids for an upcoming overseas trip, but if ANC doesn't worked wired as mentioned above then that's a no. Any recommendations on some alternatives that will work ANC wired around this price? (but also be BT)

    • +1

Sennheiser 450SE? Also on special at Amazon.

      • Considered these but the reviews weren't all that great. Thanks for the suggestion though.

  • Thanks for the heads up, I just cancelled my order, no good for flights = paperweight

  • Is this over the ear or on the ear

    • over
