    I have this battery pack. Purchased in May for this exact price. Definitely overkill for what I need it for but love the battery capacity and ability to charge at 100W.

    I've got the GT3k and the GP4k.
    I don't like how it doesn't come with the hard case that the GP4k does.
    Overall, it's a good unit.

      I definitely agree with this. I got one of these hard cases for my GT4000S. I think I paid ~$40 on eBay which feels crazy for a hard case but trying to store it in the soft bag it comes with seems pretty cheap and flimsy.

      accidents happen, sometimes you leave the lights on etc

      great for camping as a battery to charge devices

      helping other people, you might have a good battery but your mate might have left his fridge plugged in too long while camping

      again accidents happen - nothing worse than having a dead battery while camping, best to have it and not need it than need it and not have it

      its not that much money for peace of mind and i have spent way more money on other parts on my car

        I bought a generic one for $50.
        It works fine.. Has fast charging and s fast wireless charging Pad built in too.

        I have tested the jump start function on a 3L petrol engine with no car battery attached and it started just fine.

        I get they are handy to have I'm an emergency (which is why I got one), but it seems overkill to spend almost $200 on one

          People need to start bigger engines than your 3L petrol, if a $50 generic jump starter works for you then great.

            Get a scan tool and check for fault codes

      It depends where you are when you run out of battery. Sometimes a new battery isn't readily accessible

      No it's not. It's the complete wrong tool for the job.
      It won't charge a car battery

          That'll work but specs look average.
          4A output is very low.
