According to other users, yes. And I've filled a tank, the NSW shop honoured the price lock. Pretty sure this trick breaches the user agreement that we all clicked AGREE. So 7-Eleven reserve the right to terminate the agreement with all of us ;-)

They've made plenty out of peaks and troughs - I have no shred of sympathy for any 'loss' 7-11 runs into for this! Fuel market is a rort.
ultimately 7/11 is the winner here, right? fuel lock gets customers in the door who may have otherwise gone to an independent servo for a cheaper price at the bowser.

Yeah the economics stack up usually. When locking interstate in no rush whilst saving 20-30c/L. But for stuff like this they can’t keep up.

U95, U98 are done. But U91 is now 50c according to Petrol Bargain.

I doubt it - I'd imagine they scrape the data themselves using the same api's.
I doubt that. Why do that when it's more profitable to use someone else's work? It also seems suspicious that PB is reporting the 50c price when refinery isn't and the 7-Eleven app isn't.
@sween64: The last updated time on refinery is 4pm - so not sure they are a good comparison. projectzerothree is still showing 50c as well, and a last updated time of 5.45pm.
Scraping the prices is a smaller job than automating the locking so it'd be weird to do it from another site.
