only ordered 1 but got cancelled :(

    • Ordered 2x sets, both shipped yesterday. I think it was by order time, not quantity.

      • Interestingly my order is still in limbo, not cancelled nor shipped

        • Same. Hasn't yet been cancelled…not yet shipped either

pity some ppl really need it and it is OOS.
but then again if you need it that bad probably worth the full price……..

    • Blasphemy !

I only ordered 1 not cancelled but… if you "really" needed it then you could just go bunnings/sydney tools and buy any set…..

So if they’re selling it for $21, what’s the cost price, $15? And now it’s up to $119.

    • The cost price could be that low. It's usually determined by order quantity and supplier. For eg.

1,000 vs 100 vs 10 units ordered, etc. Prices do scale and it also depends on warehouse stock. Stuff that doesn't move needs too. Supply v Demand economics - hate this crap.

Some tools can be priced like jewellery. Markup is crazy!

The cost price could be that low.

I doubt the markup on Wera tools is 800%.

    • Cost price could be $40, $50 who knows? Companies do sell things at below cost sometimes.

  • ohh missed great tools

  • Hi guys, who got their order through at $21.59,
Can someone do me a favor and provide me a screenshot of $21.59 on Amazon/Amazon UK?

    Much appreciated!

Am I assuming correctly u are hunting a price match? Sounds like a pipe dream!

A tool store or bunnings ain't gonna match that. RRP is way off. Probably say that's below cost.

Nah, contacted Amazon about cancellation and they kept saying that I ordered it at $70.xx, but can't explain why I didn't receive the initial order confirmation, but received order cancellation.

I kept telling me $21.59 was the price at the time of ordering. They asked for a screenshot, which I don't have. Nothing is going to come out of this, but I'm just annoyed and upset that they implied that I was lying about the purchase price.

        • Then just make one? You can simply change the webpage and your system time to get one which would be exactly the same as the real thing.

  • mine still says not posted yet. though probably prime day, a few things of mine are not posted as yet.

Mines been sitting with AU customs longer then it took to get from UK to AU

  • Received mine today

  • Arrived today. Yet still waiting for Auspost to deliver my other Amazon orders from over east.

    • Ironically, the same. Arrived today from UK, to country WA. The rachet handle I ordered the same time, is still days away yet

  • Mine arrived today too. First wera set I’ve owned, great quality - says made in Czechoslovakia.

I have over 5 sets of Wera, all are made in Czech Republic / Czechia.

  • Just opened mine. Does the rapidator attachment have a very slight slack in the mechanism? Not back and forth, but rotationally?

  • Received mine today. Awesome quality.

  • where else can i get decent priced decent quality T10 long bit?

    • Your local bloke from CRT?

    • I was pretty happy with these

LOL at the Posidrive screw sitting next to the Philips bit in the photo 😁 There's nothing in the set to drive that screw properly…

        • I kinda wish the Wera set came with ball end hex bits rather than the Posidrives as I rarely use them. Oh well, at least it didn't have 4 flatheads.
