    • No modern appliance lasts that long, if I get 5 years I am happy

How many times times you been married now?

          Just the once :)

      • Yikes that's not good, for me it depends on the appliance but for this I expect 15 years.
I brought a used washing machine dryer combo when I got to Victoria for $200, 4 years ago and still working like new

  • I ordered a haier heat pump from GG for $1k , been waiting over a month for it. Thinking of cancelling and ordering this instead

  • Just spoke to the sales team and ETA on this is 4-5 weeks

    • Oh no - we recently bought a fridge and it was delivered next day - Was starting to wonder why I hadn't had any correspondence from them… Looks like i'll be cancelling tomorrow

    • Website still says 3-11 business days. Guess all they were after were to stop you buying the aldi one, and don't tell you you'll be waiting for 2 months to actually get it. What a joke winter will be over and I can dry my clothes outside again by the time it gets here.

      • its a bit deceptive, they said its dispatched 3-11 days after stock arrives

  • Receiving mine today. They attempted delivery but didn’t have it on the truck….

  • So I got mine today. Strange this was when I unpackaged it, there was water in the drum, door filter section and on the foam base that the dryer comes on. The lint filter was dripping with water.

The box had the outside plastic ties intact and the dryer was in its plastic packaging. The water didn't smell so I can't imagine its flood water but I can't imagine how or why this happened. A few people who've bought the aldi version of the heat pump dryer have seen the same in the past few days but don't know why either.

I'll call Solt on Monday. Hopefully it's nothing weird like coolant or Esatto/Solt's warehouse being flooded.

  • I ordered this over 3 weeks ago and absolutely nothing from the Good Guys. Terrible service. Anyone else have same issue?

    • Yeah same here - I was even on chat a week ago trying to cancel the order and they told me they would be in touch in 2 days with an update regarding stock (once again heard nothing) absolutely useless customer service…

Got an sms today saying that mine is ready for pickup

So disappointed in this order - i've had to contact them 3 times and still have been unable to get any information as to when this will arrive (they have on all occasions) said they will call me back or send an email and have been absolutely ghosted.

Finally I have seen that stock is now in the warehouse and ready for next day delivery, so sat on chat again today to be told firstly 'what happened here is you've ordered an End of Life product. It can no longer be supplied by our supplier unfortunately and this should of been communicated to you in the first place. I can process a cancellation for you now if you would like?' - i told them no way they're not pulling that on me and then they come back with 'The warehouse has none in stock.'

When i told them that i could see they have stock showing for next day delivery they've told me 'I have found out more information for you. The store had placed an order for you product. The supplier has just not provided an ETA. We have no further information from the supplier and I'm unable to contact the supplier.
    '

What an absolute farce - really don't know what to do from here - so gutted… have waited 6 weeks

We've bought so much from the so called good guys but will never, ever set foot in there or give them a cent
