LG UltraFine 32" 32UN88A Ultra HD 4K IPS Ergo HDR10 Monitor $699 + Delivery @ Dick Smith / Kogan

130

Looks like a pretty good price on a 32", 4K, IPS Monitor with Ergo mount. Same deal available on Kogan. Unfortunately shipping doesn't appear to be free.

Given this is IPS with a low refresh rate, I would class this as a productivity monitor (not gaming).

You can get an LG 34" UltraWide for around the same price, but only QHD and non-curved (which I sense might be a problem at 34").

  • How would this monitor compare to a Dell 4K monitor like the U3223QE? (Noting the significant price difference)

The LG has very good colour accuracy (as does the Dell)
Both are IPS although the Dell has IPS Black so I think the Dell is a better panel for contrast and brightness, and the LG has a better stand (I love the ergo stand)

It's almost half the price so better on the wallet :) But the Dell ultimately is the better monitor.

      • Thanks for the response. As I thought !

a bit off topic, but recently I got a new monitor too, 140%sRGB and 99%P3, now everything on chrome looks a bit oversaturated, what do i do now?
I found the tool novideo_srgb_clamp, but doesnt that defeats the whole point of buying a wide gamut monitor?
