Exact same laptop at TGG $1699, wonder if they'll price match? I have a TGG gift card I want to use.
I tried to get TGG to match Officeworks at $797, the sales guy said it was all good and sent me to the register then the cashier seemed to take it personally because it was lower than their staff discount… She told the manager and they didn't let me have it for that price and said the lowest they could go was $1300

3060 has better performance but it's about $200 more expensive even in sales

I got this laptop in the bing lee christmas deal for $700, tho that deal came with 8GB ram. Ive added 8GB stick and 2TB evo plus and this laptop has been flawless so far.
Runs all my games 1080p med+ settings @60+ fps, and so far have not experienced any issues others are talking about.
just like with everything, there will be bad and good reviews.
edit: also I believe its the 3060 model that suffers from overheating and throttling.

@MrFrugalSpend: i know nothing about laptops but my son wanted a laptop mainly to play roblox and for school as well , i just wanted to pay about $1k as my son who is 14 has an intellectual disability and isn’t the best with looking after his things as he will forget to put it in his bag ect ..
