Excellent price on this budget Android tablet that was previously selling for US$200 when on sale. This is a good choice if you're after some gaming, general use and watching media. Straight up an obvious downside to this is that there's no Widevine L1 DRM so if you want to watch Netflix or Prime it'll be in SD. Besides that the screen is still good for media due to the 2K resolution, IPS panel, 540nits brightness and 256GB inbuilt storage that's expandable.

Features include Android 11, 10.4" 2K IPS display, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage (expandable via MicroSD), Dual SIM, 4G with B28, 6200mAh battery providing 8+ hours of usage, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, quad speakers and powered by the Unisoc Tiger T618 Octa-core CPU.

For reviews Techtablets praises this tablet highly and ETA Prime covers the gaming/emulation performance really well.

Drats, this would have been great from the linked YouTube videos but no Wildvine L1 cert is a bit of a killer!

  • This has lte / gps so would make a decent telsa-like centre console in a car

  • what are the odds of these getting regular updates?

    • None. Hasn't been a firmware update since November.

    • I have the iplay 30 pro. One update and then nothing. When I charge the powered off device, there is no indicator of the battery level. Irritating like hell. Not sure if same for the 40 pro.

Zilch, I have an iPlay 30 as well. Buggy AF. OTA updates don't work etc.

Would never buy this brand again, the good specs for the money are destroyed by the lack of support

  • I have the iPlay 40H (like the 40Pro, but with 128gb instead), and its been pretty bullet proof.
Only bug is that WiFi issue with Mesh networks.

Theres a May-2022 firmware update for the 40H, but it doesnt address the bug apparently.
And it needs to be loaded manually via USB cable i think. So i havent bothered.

  • better buy galaxy .. i had many painful memory with chinese devices. some time passed then no way to get assist from its company
