Looks like the same unit as the Aldi Baun 70" 4K.

Isn't 70" 4k smart tv for $700 very cheap or am I missing something?

    • Yes its very cheap - JB recently had Blaupunkt 75" 4K Ultra HD Android TV @ $636

  • Negging because of well documented fire risks associated with Samsung washing machines

    • +1

Is this still happening? or is it all the past models from years ago

      • -6

Probably still happening. Some poor reviews still out there. Better safe than sorry I say.

        • +2

do you mind posting links? quick search only finds things from 2013-19

            • +3

@[Deactivated]: Samsung also had a safety issue with their phone's exploding. People still buy their phones now as the problem was fixed..
As bargainsgrabber stated it looks like they've fixed the issue? so unless it's still ongoing that I can't seem to find, I don't see the point of neg

              • @Lolitsjoel: Don’t bother to entertain his comments. It’s totally illogical. If everything has a fire hazard, he should jolly well neg all the deals that had a recall.

It’s more of a personal attack through negging my deal to get attention than any logical sense, as seen by the Heymix deal that I linked

      • +7

It’s not, Samsung had recalled all of the faulty products since 2019

The neg was as a payback because of this previous Heymix deal

          • +7

@[Deactivated]: Invalid logic and negative vote. Heymix is a current issue faced by many OzBargain users and Heymix didn’t even bother to create a recall issue of their products

Samsung did a recall and they’ve fixed the issue since. Haven’t heard of any fire issue since 2019

            • -1

@BargainsGrabber: Samsung washer issues are well document and they were forced into a recall because of industry and media reports. Nothing of the like is associated with Heymix as a brand except for a few poor reviews, probably due to GaN user error. They require a little extra care. My neg is based on documented evidence and a recall. Yours isn't.

Are you associated with Samsung washing machines? I bet you are. I've reported you for not disclosing that you're a Samsung salesman. Just kidding, I wouldn't be such a numpty.

          • @[Deactivated]: Wow. You rabid Heymix fan boys really are a weird bunch.

Man that guy is next level salty lol

My dad told me about his days of working at a Ford dealership in the 1970s. There was a model of car that had to be recalled because the brake cable was snapping or something like that. Can you believe Ford had the audacity to continue producing cars? They're still making them today! Insane!

      • The cable may be fixed but your dignity is still at risk driving a Ford

I just bought the linsar 70" 4K webos bbq tv from a joint in Airport West (Vic) for $500.

Good unit, but not worth more than $700 full retail imo. So I'd call this deal about RRP.

    • Which joint in airport West..

      • Just electrical or something similar.

        • What kind of, um, person, negs a guy for spending his time providing information to a deal better than the original one?

Anyway, I checked, it was Just Electrical and I walked in and negotiated for the exact same brand, model, size etc. TV for $500 exactly. Not used, not damaged etc.

Hopefully someone can negotiate the same deal for themselves.

      What's a bbq TV?

      • I just added it as a joke. All these acronyms made me do it so I can't be held accountable, right? 😁

Do not buy Samsung washing machines. I had my first machine spider broken in 5 years, second in 4 years. rubbish products, newer again. Samsung is only good for S series and Note series phones.

    • This.

    • Agree, bought an 10kg model a 5 years ago and been through 2 control boards, one under warranty and one out. Tech told me it's a common problem for that model and in summary widely reported on the net that the board dies every 2ish years. Hmm, looks like I'm close to another 2 years on this latest board…

8yrs on my Samsung top loader 10kg, going strong..
      been a good unit

every brand will have faults with their units

  • I'm after a new washer and thinking of the Haier 7.5kg Front Load Washer which seems to be $629 almost anywhere atm. Seems well reviewed. Is there anything similar that people know of that's a better deal?

  • Linsar 70" 4K UHD Smart WebOS TV $700 - No stock in Perth :(

    • Delivery fee is only $35. Well worth it and don’t forget to film the unboxing and test it on right in front of the delivery driver.

  • I got the 65" version of the Linsar WebOS TV back in March for $699 - it's not bad, and it acts like an LG because of WebOS so that's a nice plus.

Colours were initially a little off, but after a bit of tweaking they at least look (to my defective eyes) reasonably fine.

  • What's the Lindsar upscaling like?

  • I got an email this morning for $70 off coupon code, not sure if its targeted but brought the 70" Linsar TV down to $630, Then 6% Shopback. Had to pay $35 delivery though.

Thanks OP, got the WW95T654DLE using the $70 off promo code and previous $10 credit and 5% off GCs. Delivery is $55.
Word of warning to others - can only use one promo (eg the $70 off only and not the additional $20 price beat / price check discount) and I think the $10 store credits only stack with one GC (or another $10 credit).

  • I got a call from GG saying WW95T654DLE has been "deleted" from their system and they can't fulfil my order.
WTF am I supposed to do with the gift-cards if I opt for a refund? Anyone have any experience dealing with them?

    • Just called back and they confirmed that they'll only refund to gift card.
      FML - what a disaster.
I think it's insane that the model is still available for purchase on the website - what a scam!
