Slightly cheaper than Prime and other $171.15 deals. Cheapest price for a while, but still no where as cheap as March 2021 $139.

Good comment here on the recent deal about the R1700BTs.

This is the newer model R1700BTs, NOT the older R1700BT.

New features of R1700BTs: BT 5.0 (with aptX), Subwoofer output, Sound Spacilizer, new remote. (Thanks thebadmachine).

Good thorough post thank you. I bought these in the latest deal - annoying I could have saved $2!
I haven't really used them yet tbh but the production quality is very good. They feel hefty and quality. Look good too. A bit smaller than I had expected. Easy to set-up. I am pleasantly surprised by the sound quality and the bass.

Not a speaker expert but love mine, got them 2 weeks ago and very happy with my purchase. Sounds better than sub $200 imo.

  • Can they be connected to multiple Bluetooth devices at once
E.g. a Google Hub and Amazon Echo

  • Is it worth paying extra $37 for the 1850?

    • You could just wait for the P17s to go on sale for like $60 and then hook these up to an amplifier - the amplifier could be a cheap chinese branded one such as the Aiyima A07 or the one I use, the Fosi Audio BT20A-S which is available pretty cheap from alibaba ends up costing only 140 and you get bluetooth, although you'd have to hook it up to a DAC or AUX port, since there's no internal DAC for optical or coaxial.

      • The 1850s are probably better. The P17s are just passive R1380Ts.

  • I have these, they're alright. Extremely scooped sound profile though, very "hyped".

  • I just bought these… for the same price…how do they compare?

  • Anyone have experience of these?
