      It'll grow back.

        You're thinking of a liver.

  • I'm waiting for a good deal on a D2 Mach 1, any ideas?

    • +1

Nice looking watch but all the aviation features are pure gimmick. Nothing that you would use real time.

More of a look “I'm a pilot” watch

      Still, it IS nice looking

As an ultralight flyer I disagree.

        • +1

ahhhhhh!!!! good point, never thought of that.

Still wouldn't it be better to just have a phone mount for a bigger screen?

I'm a paraglider and ex airline pilot. Not much use for either. I think ultralight might be its niche. Hope you find a deal!

          • @slipperypete: :D oft forgotten haha.

Yeah but sometimes glare etc makes it hard to see without fumbling with the phone. Will be nice to have something you can bring closer as needed.

            • @meowsers: Not sure if BUPA still offer 20% discount for members? Might be an option if no bargains come up. Can get a friend to buy it?

    Tiny watch for tiny wrists

  • I have the fenix 7 and love it, but since the 955 came out might be worth getting that instead. Has pretty much all the same features if you don't mind the plastic body.

    • Fenix is multisport, looks like the 955 is more of a runner/triathlete watch

      • +4

both fenix 7 and 955 are multisport. both have the same functions. only difference is the body. i have a 935. i'll be buying a 955 when i can get a deal on one

        • +1

They seem to market it more as a running watch but you are right!!

I kind of like the idea of the plastic being that much lighter. Also I like it has HRV.

I'm looking at upgrading my Fenix 5 and the 955 looks really good. thanks!!

@slipperypete: As someone who loves their 955 Solar I'd say that the 255 music is better value for money. If touchscreen isn't a priority then you're getting 90-95% of the watch for less.

@Detective fishlips: I'm really surprised how many variants they have and the similarities!
My main use is for mountain biking, swimming and skiing. It seems all of these cover things.

I gotta rethink my next update and do a bit more study. It's always been Fenix or nothing!! Thanks

No I don't need touchscreen. I sold my road bike Garmin 1030 because I hated the touchscreen. I'm guessing this is probably a little better tho

        • As above comment to Moddy… Ended up buying the 955 due to you guys info

          thanks

  • Wow bought this yesterday and was considering putting it up here, but there wasn't much stock

Still waiting for a 7x deal.

    • Ahhh

      • Ironman sized wrists, need that 12 hour GPS bat.
