          @superforever: Mini LED refers to the LED backlighting of LCD screens. Mini LED just means smaller and more backlighting sources to attempt to reduce bloom/light bleed that all LCDs on the consumer market currently have.

            @onlinepred: That is why more expensive and QN90B is higher end model like the Sony 95 series.

            Still LCD doesn't mean the same panel like those cheapo LCD panel.

              @superforever: Yes, but all the pitfalls are still there, and mostly they just changed backlighting and added more things in between the LCD panel and the backlighting array.
              Even the X95j compared to X90j and even the X85j show next to no hardware differences. Just like the QN90B, they are great for LCD TVs, but really not huge improvements given how old the tech is.

                  @superforever: I guess that's the point I'm making, is they mostly don't. It might get to say $2500-$3000 when they are on runout, but then will sell like hotcakes.

                  Take the X90j, went on runout at $2k for a short time, before that the cheapest was $2200-2500. That's for a 65" screen. Now the X90K is out and you can't get the X90j as it's all gone.

                  I've been waiting for almost 1.5 years now, eventually got the X90j second hand, and feel like it's a highly average TV considering the costs of OLED tvs are getting more competitive now. A95k Sony TV looks amazing though. It is OLED
