    For people like me that can't be bothered spending money on upgrading my iPad1 it makes it better than iPhoto since it won't run on ipad1. Yeah it is better than photoshop express, the only thing I use it for these days is the noise reduction.
    
    I would say its not significantly better or worse than iPhoto. Just different. A few different features etc.
