    • ☹️ updated states with stock

      • Thanks for the heads up. I might bite the bullet and pay full price on legos website.

Afraid it’s gonna run out permanently :(

It's only a recent release. It will be around for at least a year.

          • @douglasabailey: Ah, cheers man. I thought I read somewhere that it’s going to retire at the end of this year

I think you'd have to travel back in time to find availability…

  • Ecto-1 also back in stock (NSW)

  • Got one click and collect from a store in NSW. Let's see if it is actually there…..

  • Says out of stock online now for all states.

FYI you can buy this from the Lego store direct, it’s $270 but you get ~ 5% back as VIP points (redeemed for vouchers)

I was too slow (again) for the Kmart deal, so I caved and did this. It’s ”only” +$20. Free delivery. Cheers @chris24803

  • Need three to be complete…

    • Need 4 really. And find some train wheels from another Lego set

Or you could save some money and buy a copy from AliExpress

    • Anyone else tried getting the bootlegs from Ali Express, what are they like? Not proper Lego, but they do the job?

      • +1

Check out YouTube for some reviews. Some sets have far less parts, some details differ. Sometimes missing parts, decals creased, bur you're paying way less. Sometimes pieces might have marks on them possibly from sorting machinery. Quality of pieces are very good though.
My friend got the massive Titanic in bootleg and said it's pretty good.

I've bought and built several sets from Ali express. The quality is good , there is usually a missing piece or two but nothing major. The bags aren't always numbered so you often have to open up all the bags to get started rather than working off one bag at a time. You don't get the box but you do get the instructions. It's best not to buy the sets that have lots of moving parts i.e the piano. as they are not as solid as the Lego ones.

I buy the original Lego for ones I like under 100 ( i.e star wars heads) but for sets like this where it's quiet expensive, the Ali express ones are great as it's often 1/3 of the cost.

      • Just build the porche911. Everything was good, except for it said POLICHE in the back lol

    • No box. Literally unbuildable then…

      • Huh?

  • done its gone again.

  • Got it. Thanks OP.

    • OOS to me?

    • same here. OOS. =(

    • +1

Shows as OOS for Victorian post codes. Will update.

      • Also not available for ACT postcodes either…

Rediculous considering AusPost basically treat us as regional NSW anyway!

    • just bought mine and signed up with onepass trial which looks pretty good.

This is beyond my self imposed price per brick limit, so I thought I'd experiment and try the AliExpress version that people suggested in the other listings. It arrived pretty quickly and I'm half way through building it. For $90, I'm happy enough, but obviously it's not perfect. The bricks are a bit stiffer to put together, and some parts don't align perfectly. I'll report back when I've finished the build.

      • Looks great when done. The metallic silver bits on the rear sides look a bit off, but I haven't seen the original. I know the metallic gold parts on the bottom of my official globe look a little odd, but not as much as these do. Alignment wasn't a big problem. I'm surprised it came with the light up brick. No missing parts, and the same spare parts that Lego includes. I would consider a copy cat again for builds I'm on the borderline with if the price is about a third and there are good reviews.

    • Thanks, order placed successfully.

    • We will sew cheaper in the future if you aren't in a rush

      • +4

        Have you just been there?

        • +1

And in the future, we don't need horses. We have motorized carriages called automobiles.

    • Is there any way to pay for this with FB$ (flybuys dollars) online?
