To be eligible to receive one month free health insurance you must:
a. agree to the competition Terms and Conditions;
b. not be an employee of the Promoter or the Promoter’s Related Entities;
c. purchase a new eligible health insurance policy with the Promoter within the Promotion Period.

Eligible Policies:
a. Better Hospital (Silver+) or Better Hospital (Silver+) and Extras packaged covers;
b. Vital Hospital (Bronze+) or Vital Hospital (Bronze+) and Extras packaged covers.

The offer of one month’s free private health insurance cover with the Promoter is applied to the first month of the new eligible private health insurance policy issued by the Promoter.

Applications are processed manually, it takes 24-48 hours after submitting an online application.

  Most waiting limits are longer than 1 month, so only reason to switch is if you're getting a better deal / premiums.

  I would do it, but Medibank is about to give me 25000 Live Better points which I can use for $200 premium. I like Queensland Country Health, their Bronze is equivalent to others Silver

  I have been with QCH for over 10 years now and always been happy with the fund. The premiums are low, the rebates generous and the customer service always top notch. I highly recommend them.
