I don't know why I have to buy this but I feel compelled to.

Do you have any idea what this book is about mate? Because sounds like you don’t…

    • Yuck because no one soaks them in alcohol anymore, leaving them dry and flavourless.

Eggs are sick, have you ever had eggs?

$12 is standard big w price!

Book of the year contender, thanks OP I ordered one.
In the words of Broden himself- "I love pud"

Their podcast is out of control, Future City episode was an absolute ear masterpiece.

As a consumer of Vic Garden's KFC, I'm fairly invested in the ongoing Hot & Spicy saga.

      • +1

Is that every garden in Victoria? Or the one with the ikea, the one with a separate entrance in Richmond? When was the last time you had it?

        • +1

I can't remember the last time I had it, maybe I should check with their head office.

          • +3

@Jimbuscus: Lol I’m so torn..whether I should ask you the same question over and over but idk If half the people here would understand. I understand it was half a joke but they did a darn good job with their “investigation”. What did you take out of it? I feel like it was owned by Yum and only had HnS because HO was nearby and loved HnS themselves. I wouldn’t be surprised if the closest KFC to “French Toast, NSW” has HnS today

            • +2

@ExtraSalt: I feel like Vic Garden's being owned by the same company that owns the Queensland KFC franchises was going to be the best explanation. I think they will come to a resolution in the next episode.

I'm very interested in seeing if this somehow escalates to Vic getting Hot n Spicy as a regular.

              • +1

@Jimbuscus: Idk, COVID bloke was pretty certain Collins Foods wasn’t operating in Victoria, or VIC Gardens (but not every garden in Victoria, just the one with an ikea). They need to contact Yum and Southern while the lead is hot.

If hot n spicy don’t become a permanent fixture, at least have extra crispy.

Is there going to be a part 3? They uploaded 314 this morning and the title is unrelated.

                • @ExtraSalt: Yeah they break up the parts to avoid staying on the same subject too many weeks in a row, they can be a little out of order. I imagine there will be a Part 3 in the next week or two.

          • @ExtraSalt: @Taro Milk Tea

          • @ExtraSalt: who is they? I have been literally telling all KFC branches that I visited, that does not sell H&S, to start selling H&S all year long lol

            • @Taro Milk Tea: "They" is you! haha You got a shoutout on Aunty Donna's Podcast Episode #313…well your vintage post did anyway

              • @ExtraSalt: oh really, I never listened to their podcast nor do I know about Aunty Donna to begin with lol.
