The speed should be similar to SanDisk Cruzer Glide 32GB, which is
    Read speed: 21.42 MB/s
    Write speed: 4.45 MB/s
painful to fill it up(takes 4 hrs)

  • Good price, but anyone know it is MLC or TLC, QLC?

  • "Please allow 14-21 working days for dispatch of your order"
surely it doesnt take 2-3 weeks for this to be sent out if its locally stocked???

  • Firstly, it's nice to see 64GB USB's entering the sub $50 price range (well $55 close enough). Exciting times we live in :)

Sad that all the 64GB USB's in this price point are as slow as watching paint dry, however unlike a few others I've seen at least this drive has respectable READ speeds, so once it's on there it's quickly accessable so I can forgive the poor write speeds I think.

Not sure what's up with the 14-21 days though, local stock shouldn't take that long so it must be coming direct from China.

  • I dont doubt these are the future. Too slow recording speeds for this 64gig, however the day is coming where backing up your blu-ray/critical data will be inexpensive and trivial. (64GB > 50GB > 32GB).

    • I actually think USB 2.0 devices have missed the boat. USB 3.0 devices are often only a few bucks more, that's the slow ones but still faster than the fastest USB 2.0 devices.

Whilst it's tempting I'll wait for USB 3.0

      • got a link for that "USB 3.0 devices are often only a few bucks more, that's the slow ones but still faster than the fastest USB 2.0 devices"
as I know at lease for now, the speed(and price) depend on the memory chip/architecture, so a few bucks more USB3 devices probably slower than USB2 drive, if the manufacture want to make profit.
