  • anyone else not like the design of the tuf cards?

    • +2

The Strix cards look better than the TUF series but I prefer the EVGA FTW designs the best.

maybe its just the random tire marks? or the shroud being inconsistent

My preference is Noctua 3080. Awfully ugly good looking :)

It looks fine in the case, some of the accents are odd, but not bad looking.

I have the 6900xt version, great card so far, it will keep cool but could get loud doing it (esp with the watts this card could pull when OC'd).

      • The tuf Navi 21 cards are actually slightly larger than the tuf ga102 cards

    • Not bad looking, but not great either. It's good a decent, industrial, tough look.

Hard to justify 3080ti being $1500+ when 3080 12gb is $1100 with anywhere between 95% and 100% of the performance.

    • +1

Agreed just get the Asus TUF 3080 12gb for alot less.

$599 by the end of this year.

Those time travelers knowing the future prices are getting out of hand…

    • +1

      Are you accepting bets?

    • +1

$700-800 is more likely. It'll be below the 4070 MSRP, but I don't think it'll drop that far below it.

It definitely could get to below $600 on the used market, as the people who think nothing of dropping $1.5-2.5k on a 3080 Ti will be jumping at the bit to get the 4090 upgrade.

    • Dont think this is gonna end up so low. nvidia cards will always remain priced higher. It will be quite a while before next gen 4080/4070 gets released.

I guess you really didn't read the comments of the other 3080 ti post. Or else you wouldn't have posted this.

    Ridiculously bad price

  • +1

    3090 was 1899… rather that

or the 3080 for much cheaper. similar results.

Cant believe people are upvoting these deals.

    • +1

It's probably the same people who purchased this card for $2k.
