Seems to me that posts offering a discount don't have them.

@BrewerHaHa: Hey, no worries. I was wondering too and you are probably correct. When some places boost the price before discount certainly makes it relevant. But this deal seems genuine across the range and I don't necessarily think this jacket is the best deal in the range but is a pretty common and well liked jacket

Compare to down jacket and puffy jacket, what are the different ?

    • Grabbed one too. Been looking for a lighter weight insulated jacket for when the old trusty macpac is too much. Fingers crossed I got the sizing right on this one.

    • hey mate, how it that ? i was looking to get one but saw some bad reviews on broken zipper, did you have any issues like that ? also what about the fitting, would the sizes would be similar to t-shirt sizes or larger (if t-shirt size is XL, should I get L or XL for Marmot Featherless Hybrid Jacket?)

      • +1

Mate it's really great. Been using it non-stop. Yes I did read about the zipper in advance, and have to agree it's not well built or smooth to use when trying to unzip/re-zip. Hence I've been cautious when doing so and it's fine.

For sizing, I'm on that border between S/M usually, which sucks because some clothing an S is great, and other brands M fits better. I would say this fits true to size. I got an S which fits perfect. Although from reading other reviews, people about the same size seem to say M fits good too. I would say L if you want a snug, slim fit, and XL if you want a slightly roomier but still athletic fit.

        • thanks mate, this is really helpful :)

I have some existing Marmot gear and it’s extremely hardy and good quality. I bought some tights and a jumper.
