Seems to be at a good price for those looking for a High End Baby Seat.

Usually around $750 and no sale across all stores. This is the 0-4 year old version of the popular B-Grow seat.

It does seem to be ISO Fix so need to confirm it will fit in your car.

Preamble from the their website:

  • What seat do people recommend for 4 plus atm?

  • How does this one compare to the graphene? Is it a compact? What do you get for the extra $$$?

    • It’s not compact.

    • I can vouch for this one.
This has a smoother seat than Graphene. The head rest and head side-guards provide excellent support for sleepy babies.
I felt the build quality and finishing is also a bit better than Graphene.

my first car was only $800 lol

  • Whats is the best for new born? Also, are they detachable for holding the baby , like a basket?

    • Yes this is suitable for a newborn however, it is not detachable (the ones you are thinking of are called capsules).

  • What is everyone's recommendation for a baby seat that is suitable up to 8 years?

    • +1

Britax Maxi Guard range, Maxi Cosi Luna Smart or Pro, Infasecure Achieve range.

    • I'm also looking for a 1 - 8 baby seat. Already have two Britax Millenials but thinking of getting this for the second car. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/716133

Ideally from a safety perspective you want to keep your kids rear-facing for as long as possible. Then, once forward facing, you want to keep them in a 5-point harness for as long as possible. However, the Aldi seat can only be used in a harness configuration for the early years, and then converts to a seat belt/booster configuration. Better to get a seat that uses a harness all the way through until a car seat is not longer required imo.

        • Thanks for sharing! My son is already 3 years old and it looks like he can use the harness up until the shoulder marking. It'll be a while until he moves onto the seat belt/booster configuration.

  • Recommendation for newborn?

    • Hire a capsule, britax

  • Looking over the CREP ratings, the Mothers Choice Accord/Adore Seems to have a better safety rating? Anyone have any experience?
