[VIC] 2x Weekday "Revitalise" Bath House Entries for $70 @ Peninsula Hot Springs (First 400 Bookings Only)

sharethewarmth22

I never thought I would see the day where I would post a deal for this place! Peninsula Hot Springs on the Mornington Peninsula are encouraging people to bring a friend along who may be experiencing mental hardship so they can "share the warmth" so they are offering 2x "Revitalise" Bath House Entries for $70 on Weekdays between August 8 and September 16 for the first 400 bookings which enter the promo code "sharethewarmth22" when booking. There is nothing in the T&C's which states the need to declare if any guests have a mental health condition so it's effectively open to anyone. At this price I can say as a previous visitor that it's great value, but keep in mind that Lockers, Robes and Towels are an extra charge.

Comes with a healthy dose of covid

  • This place is great…been a couple of times when down that way.
Go as early as you can…spend the whole morning feeling better about yourself and then head for Portsea hotel for late lunch to ruin all the good.

I'm not negging the deal based on the price, but on the basis that there seem to be either no water filtration or faulty water filtration on their pools. If you look at the surface of the pools, you can actually see a film of dead skins floating at the top shudders.

I can't even imagine how much fungal infections is just floating around waiting to infect bathers…

I’m not sure how many times you’ve been but maybe it was a one off incident. I’ve never had issues with water quality or the water looking poor enough to not make me want to hop in. My main issue is too many people in the springs at one during busy periods, which this could also be a side effect.

Do me a favour and the next time you're there, jump into the first pool you see there, which is typically the busiest. At the edge of the water, just peer at the surface of the water at an angle and you will see a thin film of dead skin. People don't normally look that closely at the water so they don't see it, but just take a look the next time and see if they have improved the filtration. I hope they have!

        • I've been told this is sulfur, and I'd rather keep believing that. Haha

Their website is a crap, only shows not available and doesn’t show when the activities are available.
    A typical monopolistic attitude!
