ASUS AMD Radeon RX 6750 XT Dual OC 12GB Video Card $699 + $9.90 Delivery ($0 SYD C&C) @ PCByte

151

Was looking at recent deals and wondered if 6950xt had come down in price then stumbled upon this. I think $/frame for this card is similar or better than 6600xt at this price (approximately 30% faster). Actually needs to drop a bit more to match 6600xt $/frame. Couldn’t see any reviews in a brief search.

Might be worth considering a 3070 for slightly more, it is similar performance but faster at 4k.

    Yes/no?

No. We were seeing 6600 xt's for under $400 not that long ago.

      No.. ASRock sux

      • I've got the ASRock 6600xt challenger. Seems fine. I don't plan to overclock or play 4K@144Hz, so it's perfect for me - quiet and cool and cheap.
I think only the Gigabyte eagle has issues, the rest of these cheapies are fine for what they are.

Not sure if the extra $100+ is worth it compared to the RX6700XT.

Yeah true, 6750xt maybe 8% faster at 1440p. Needs to be more like $630 to be equivalent.

    • +2

I'm sure that it isn't worth the $114, it's not worth it, the 6750XT is fractionally improved (I saw ~5% in HUBs review). No way, no deal.

      • It's still a really good price for the 6750XT if someone is after one.

        • +1

No, at 5% more performance, a really good price for a 6750XT, is whatever a 6700XT is +5%, so let's do the maths on the comment above

$585 x 1.05 = $699? No it's $614.25, for both cards to be of the same value dollar per frame at 1440p according to the reviewer I watched that compared 11 games.

So actually a really good price would be $600, that would be 'better' value than the best 6700XT that I've seen.

Make sense? Don't buy this unless the cheapest 6700XT is… $699/1.05 = $665.71 or greater.

No it’s not, 6x50xt was just amd trying to scalp people

  • If I were buying higher-end and could wait, I would.

There are new cards around the corner from both AMD and Nvidia. This will result in price discounts on current-generation higher-end cards, both new and second-hand.

  • how does this compared to GeForce 3070 in terms of high Volume content creating? Thanks

    • NVIDIA is leagues better than AMD for content creation… 3070 would be a much better buy at this price.
