@djones145: iPad is a declining product line for Apple. Price increase is not feasible for a product that is in the declining (dog) phase of the product life cycle.
@utsc: so they will give u extra storage, new chip, have inflation and supply issues, low exchange rate and wont increase prices?

It's mostly a fomo purchase. If iPad 10th gen turns out to be as good as speculated AND roughly the same RRP, then this deal will really turn out to be an impulsive buy.
I don't think 128GB standard will be likely (iPad 6 Mini starts with 64GB and iPhone 12 has 64GB). USB-C will be nice, but Apple will do bare minimum (USB-C 3.2 gen 1, so 4K/60Hz won't be there). Pencil 2 needs to be there if USB-C because no lightning port (including 2 cables is most certainly a no-no from Apple). The biggest question mark for me is laminated display, even without using the pencil, I still prefer laminated display.
@netsurfer: Yeah knowing Apple they will not give you 128GB on the lowest model again gives you 64GB to force you to upgrade to the next tier up. Typical scheme they used for years

Shipped and delivered today on a Sunday, though I might wait and see if there's news about iPad 10th gen for the next 30 days to decide if I want to return it. (USB-C and Apple pen 2 support would be ideal.)
I got mine from David Jones when Amazon were reporting as having been sold out, my iPad is being delivered by Australia Post so you'll probably have yours at least 6 months before me at a guess.
Dragonfly shipping in my experience are great, Australia Post though are a steaming pile of dog poo who do nothing but blame their failures on Covid.

Mine arrived yesterday. Anyone recommend a reasonably priced case - don't necessarily want the cover flap/stand - just something to protect the corners/edges from drops and isn't too thick. My wife has the STM Dux which I don't like.
