MSI Optix MAG301RF 29.5" 200Hz UWHD 1ms IPS Gaming Monitor $429 Delivered / SYD C&C @ Mwave

70

$70 off (was $500), seems like an alright deal if you need a high refresh 1080p ultrawide (this isn't curved btw) but you're probably better off with a 34inch 1440p 144hz curved ultrawide.

Ignore the wrong tag, the correct tag doesn't seem to exist.

edit: the price of $429 seems to in place in multiple stores such as pc case gear and PLE so it's not exclusive to Mwave

Side note - https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/kogan-34-wqhd-curved-219-ultraw… is this ultrawide from kogan any good?

Looks to be 429 everywhere, must be MSI supported deal

    • mb, I assumed it specific to mwave, I'll change the description

      • The Kogan monitor is your standard 34 VA ultrawide with only a 1yr warranty, better off with something from Dell, AOC/Philips, Viewsonic

Super fast 100Hz refresh rate and 5ms (OD) response time

Not up to date with this stuff but seeing how 144hz and 1ms response rate seems the minimum for gaming for years this monitor looks like its from 2010.

  • Is it not USb C compatible.?

OP, that Kogan monitor looks a bit bargain bin to me. I'd spend an extra $50 and get something like this if you're after a cheap 34" curved monitor

Or if you can afford an extra $100 the Samsung Odyssey G5 is on sale for $550 at the moment - this is the one I'd go for
